The Other Place

This place is convenient for location but very bare bones. It’s neither a resort nor a condo. Ours had a kitchen, but the stuff was barely usable so we had to shop at a local store for a decent knife, spatula etc in order to grill out. Nothing that you usually get in a condo, like paper towels, little shampoos, or salt. The dish soap was so watered down it could barely be called soap. You’ll have to bring all your stuff from home if you plan to use the kitchen or BBQ. The rooms were very outdated and a little shabby. The couch was not comfortable enough for someone to sleep on. There is no hair dryer so again, bring from home. The beds are decent and the balcony is nice with a view over the river. The parking is not exclusive to your unit, so just because there is parking in front of your unit doesn’t mean you’ll get that spot. You may have to park across the property, and there’s no sidewalks so beware if you have elderly, small children, sick people etc.
