Housecleaning was very disappointing. 2x during 6 night stay was fine, frequency wasn't the problem. The bed wasn't "made" or even tucked in, just covers pulled up. Not sure if a sheet change was supposed to happen but it didn't. 1st clean the counters weren't clean. The one by the ice bucket had a spill that wasn't wiped. Room not vacuumed, at least not thoroughly if at all. Our plastic drink cups weren't replaced either of the 2 cleanings.
Whatever product used to clean the tub was extremely slippery, I did slip and bang my calf on tub. Definitely a hazard. The sub needs a mat or non-slip *****s. The handle on the toilet didn't function as it should, we made do, and I notified the front desk on departure. The bathroom needed major updating. No sink plug either. Which is helpful if the traveler, like me, wants to rinse out a few things during a long stay. The housecleaners name was Crystal, at least the 1st clean. We were in room 441.
The room wasn't up to the standard we expect at Marriott Courtyard.
On the plus side, the property is beautiful! The front desk staff, and all other staff were wonderful and friendly. The food offered in the bistro for breakfast was fantastic. We had three breakfasts there. Super nice lady cooking. Check in and out super easy. Parking was great. We will be staying here again, just hope they up the game regarding housecleaning. These are meant to be helpful hints, not cause for dismissal of housecleaner.
