This was such a fun hotel! Great food, wonderful location… Everyone was very nice. This is my kind of place. So much history. It really has a vibe. The shower is awesome too!

Rooms very small. Queen bed against wall, no chair to sit, no closet. Clean and bed good but claustrophobic

Fantastic restored hotel, friendly staff, gorgeous bar with excellent cocktails. Right in the main street of this beautiful old town. There are no elevators and lots of stairs so be prepared if you have mobility issues. No TVs for those who care…
Lovely coffee and muffins every morning in the Grand Lobby.

Remodeled historic hotel. The rooms were small but clean. Just a little noisy from the road and the room above us. The balcony was our favorite place to hang out. Off season prices were about average. My wife and I have been coming to Nevada City for almost 50 years. This is the first time staying at the National. Check 1 off our bucket list.

Beautiful historical hotel
The hotel is gorgeous! Their service was great, the room was clean and so pretty. The bed was really comfortable. I definitely recommend for anyone who live historical buildings.

The hotel was built in 1856 and has kept the old time charm. Unique and very nice. Located in old town Nevada City and very walkable. It was a nice unique experience.
