This is the worst stay experience I have ever suffered. At 23:30 on the first night, we and the reception responded that the tenant upstairs was making noise every 15-20 minutes, but the reception asked us what should he do? What can you do if the next-door tenant has children? If you can't accept it, you can check out and leave tomorrow. The next day we responded to last night's problem with the reception again, the receptionist was equally aggressive, unfriendly and unsympathetic, and said that if we checked out early, we would still have to pay the full price. Because we prepaid the total cost of stay to ***********, the hotel should claim the amount from ***********, but when we checked out, the receptionist told us strongly that we have to pay for the room again. After we got home, we confirmed with *********** that it was the hotel's fault, because they made a mistake in the money transfer. Fortunately, *********** helped us solve the problem quickly and refunded us. I have traveled to so many countries and stayed in countless hotels. I have never stayed in such an unprofessional and unfriendly hotel. I do not recommend it at all.

Das Positive zuerst: Hotel sauber, Frühstücksbuffet gut, Schwimmbad klein und schlicht. Als Hundebesitzer bekommt man von der „spröden“ Chefin ein Landhauszimmer angeboten (224 Euro/ Nacht),welches zwar 4 Sternen hinsichtlich Preis aber nicht der Ausstattung entspricht: hellhöriger Laminat, löchrige Gardine, abgestoßene Tapete, ein Bad mit 90er Charme (defekter Duschkopf nur als Handbrause zu bedienen, gerissene/ durchbohrte Fliesen, abgenutztes Waschbecken). Beim Frühstück weist man uns eine dunkle Ecke im Restaurant an. Nach dem Hinweis,daß unser Hund immer im Zimmer bleibt, dürfen wir im hellen Frühstückszimmer mit Talblick Platz nehmen. Da wir nur Frühstück gebucht haben, weist uns die Chefin darauf hin, daß wir diesen Sonnenplatz allerdings an Halbpensionsgäste verlieren könnten, was prompt am nächsten Tag passiert. Es entsteht bei uns das Gefühl der Abzocke. Den gemachten Umweg war dieses Hotel nicht wert.

Wir waren in den Jahren 2011-2013 im Talblick im Nordostschwarzwald im Urlaub, bewusst etwas abseits der üblichen Tourismushochburgen. Auch jetzt nach 10 Jahren wollten wir (natürlich auch wegen Corona) dort wieder eine Woche zum Wandern, Mountainbike und Wellnessen (jetzt ohne Kinder) verbringen. Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden, der Standard ist noch etwas gestiegen (Ausbau der Wirtsstube, Garage für die Bikes, WLAN, ...). Die Freundlichkeit der Familie Stoll und ihrer Mitarbeiter ist herauszuheben. Frühstück und 5-Gänge-Menü am Abend lassen keine Wünsche offen. Auch eine große, gute und bezahlbare Getränkeauswahl wird geboten. Dass das Mobilfunknetz nicht überall optimal ist, kann Fam. Stoll nicht beeinflussen, im Urlaub brauche ich es nicht, wenn WLAN da ist.
