Friendly staff, pleasant environment without too much noise, tidy rooms and the interior of the whole hotel, excellent food and restaurant, very reasonable price, all services and hotel staff for the highest rating.

Location was great. Close to Dusseldorf and Mochengladbach. An U-Bahn stop right in front of the hotel. (On-site) Parking was not an issue. If you want to check in during off hours a phone call/email to the hotel, or self check-in at the front door of the hotel will do. Room was clean and quiet. Yes it's tiny but sufficient to a family of four in our case. While the name B&B suggests bed and breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included but can be purchased on site. We got yelled at because we did not purchase the breakfast in advance and walked in and prepared to eat. But wait! We can always pay for it (later) right? The staff covering the morning shift that day argued that people 'normally' pay first (so we can not pay later?!).... To be fair, the dining area was clean and welcoming, and foods were there. There were no signages saying that 'Please pay before sitting down' or 'Please wait here to be seated'. The bottom line is that there is no reason to yell at people, right? Just kindly put down a bill/check would yield a much better travel experience. How did the entire incidence end? We paid for the breakfast, but did not eat anything. We walked across the street and had our breakfast at the McDonald's. We did not want to eat in a bad mood with a rude staff.

The location is very good, near residential areas, near Kings Avenue. The lobby of the hotel is not too big, which is probably the reason for the city center. But the room facilities are very good, and there is a stove! The best offers two bottles of water and beer for free. Praise!

room, location is great my stay was perfect especially a warm welcome when I arrived. the receptionist saw me tired from walking under the cold, instead of asking passport but offered me a bottle of water.. lovely.. and other staffs at breakfast were excellent service mind. cheers Hampton Dusseldorf :)

The rudeness of a young staff member spoiled our stay at this lovely hotel. Started off at checking in a young man at the checking desk handed in a piece of paper to my husband asking him to sign that without explanation what it was. Next he asked my husband to put his credit card to pay for a stay. Although my husband said he had already paid for the 3 night stay, the boy asked him again to put the card in the card reader which my husband did. After repeating that the stay had been already paid for the young man checked on his computer and asked his colleague for help (cancelling transaction?)he also said that it was nothing to worry about. Then I suggested that we had to check next time whether customer has already paid or hasn’t- so with a very cold face he told me off for my attitude saying that everything was going to be ok. Thanks God we had more money than what was locked on the bank account otherwise we would be in trouble. When I suggested that little ‘I’m sorry’ would help the situation the young member of staff said he did not have anything to apologise for. Not at all a warm welcome in the very beginning made us feel very disappointed and me and my hubby would not recommend staying at the Moxy Hotel. The staff that we met next morning was nicer and helpful, continental breakfast was good and hotel’s design is quirky and has many comfy places to lounge. There is an AppleMac with the internet which is very helpful when exploring things to do in Düsseldorf. Our room was cleaned every day, the hotel seems to be quite a clean place although there is a one friendly mouse running between seats in the lounge.

Nachdem wir im Februar schon vor unserem Flug zwei Nächte hier verbrachten, erlebten wir heute morgen nach einem Nachtflug aus der Karibik eine einmalige Überraschung: wir durften sofort um 8 Uhr einchecken und sogar noch kostenlos das Frühstück einnehmen. I didn't expect this hotel next to the airport to be so good. It is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the lobby is also very bright. I used to live next to the Sheraton, but now it seems that the Sheraton is so bad. . .

The price is excellent, modern and fast mode, the surrounding environment is okay, and it is relatively simple. If you choose to stay overnight temporarily, the parking lot is charged. The hotel's underground closed safety is guaranteed. Very efficient and pleasant staff at the reception for the check-in downstairs. As an ALL platinum member, I was upgraded upon check-in. The room was large, conveniently furnished and quiet through the night. As I had an early departure, I took a taxi to get to the airport (5min ride) as the hotel is not exactly at the airport (22min by walk).

We were attending a wedding party in Düsseldorf with other friends and we just picked this local hotel because it was convenient but we were surprised to see that bit only it was super clean and comfortable but gorgeous too. Their restaurant which we used for breakfast was situated in trees and stream passing by. Very cute and quality of food and variety was great. Very friendly people at counter and kitchen and all over I definitely go back and recommend it if you are not 1st time tourist visiting the town.
