Very very friendly staff! A welcome cocktail, beer or non-alcoholic beverages! Great check-in, where you find out everything important in a friendly manner. Suite was super spacious, everything was clean and quiet. Food: simply SUPER! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the dinner menu is excellent, tasty and served quickly. Although it is not a children's hotel, we felt very comfortable with our two-year-old daughter. She was always taken care of. The free ErlebnisCard, which offers discounts/free entry, was also good. Amusement park Edelwies (really great!) can be reached in five minutes by car and the Waldwipfelweg in about 13 minutes. There are assigned seats in the restaurant, so no annoying search! We will come back!!

Wir geben zu: Wir sind Wiederholungstäter ☺️ Vor einem Jahr sind wir spontan auf das Hotel „Bayerwald-Residenz“ aufmerksam geworden und haben uns von Anfang an rundum wohl gefühlt! Daher haben wir dieses Jahr gezielt gebucht und wurden ein weiteres Mal in keinster Weise enttäuscht!! Alles war durch die Bank hervorragend!! Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team! Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare und schöne Zeit. Zimmer: super Sauberkeit: super Personal: aussergewöhnlich bzw. exzellent!!! Restaurant (Frühstück/Abendessen): super, lecker, reichlich Freundlichkeit: exzellent / herausragend Fazit: wir kommen sicher wieder und können das Hotel nur empfehlen! Hervorzuheben ist die herausragende Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams! Das findet man in dieser ehrlichen Weise/Art sogar in 5-Sterne-Hotels leider eher selten… weiter so!

Zur Lage: Neukirchen liegt 10 km/Minuten von der Autobahnabfahrt der A3 entfernt und ist somit unkompliziert per Auto erreichbar. Die Wander-/Skigebiete Richtung Bodenmais/Arberregion sind in rund einer Stunde erreichbar. Man kann auch am Hotel starten - das sind aber eher Spaziergänge als Wanderungen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Straße mit äüßerst maßigem Verkehr und daher absolut ruhig. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Nachbarort. Die Zimmer verteilen sich über zwei Stockwerke, sind großzügig, gemütlich und verfügen über einen kleinen Balkon. Sie sind neuwertig eingerichtet und extrem sauber. Teppichboden ist Geschmackssache. Im Untergeschoss gibt es einen Wellnessbereich mit Saunen, Massage, Kosmetik und einen kleinen Fitnessraum. Mehr braucht man auch nicht :-)). Im Erdgeschoss liegen Rezeption und Restaurant (auch öffentlich). Zudem gibt es einen kleinen Außenbereich. Der Empfang war freundlich-familiär, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken oder gar aufdringlich zu sein - Ankommen und Wohlfühlen. Und das zieht sich dann auch durch-habe keine Mitarbeiter erlebt, der unfreundlich oder uninteressiert war. Und wenn man Lust zu einem Schwätzchen hatte, dann hatte man auch Zeit. Man kann Frühstück oder Halbpension buchen - Essen a la carte ist auch möglich. Alles sehr lecker und die Preise sind angemessen. Und zu guter Letzt: Hunde werden gerne gesehen. Unser Boxermädchen vermisst euch.
