A very pretty and clean hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The food is delicious and varies on a day to day basis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The general decor is elegant but comfortable. There are some very helpful staff members.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mit äußerst bequemen Betten. Besonders schmackhafte Küche mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstücksbuffet exzellent. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir waren als Wanderer für 1 Nacht im Hotel, die Lage direkt am Rennsteig ist optimal.

Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstrasse in Neuhaus am Rennweg. Von hier aus kann man einige Unternehmungen starten. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist auch alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr schön gestaltet. Das Bad ist eher klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut, man kann sehr gut schlafen. Auch hier ist alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist vielfältig und für jeden etwas dabei. Gechmacklich wie qualitativ sehr gut. Das Abendessen war klasse. Geschmacklich wie qualitativ auch hier sehr gut. Die Portionen sind nicht gerade klein. Großes Lob an die Küche. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen und genießen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Neuhaus am Rennweg. Für uns war es der Ausgangspunkt unserer Wanderung auf dem Rennsteig. Der Empfang war sachlich ok. Wir erhielten ein Zimmer im 1. OG. Das Zimmer war mit reichlich Deko ganz nett hergerichtet, aber der alte „Charme“ ist nicht ganz zu verbergen. Für unseren Hund wartete eine Decke sowie Näpfe im Zimmer. Sehr gut! Das Restaurant besuchten wir nicht, dafür aber später die Bar, die mit einer stattlichen Auswahl verschiedener Gins aufwartet. Der Service war nebenbei mit dem Vorbereiten des Frühstücksbüffets beschäftigt, weshalb wir immer wieder mal auf uns aufmerksam machen mussten. Das Frühstück, das uns am nächsten Morgen erwartete, war sehr gut. Allein die halben Kiwis in der Obstschale fanden wir etwas sonderbar, zumal diese bereits am Abend zuvor da lagen.

Das Zimmer war alt und renovierungsbedürftig aber sauber. Die Fernbedienung vom Fernseher ging nicht, mußte getauscht werden. Am Bett war in der Lampe keine Glühbirne. Die Speisen und Getränke sind, anhand der Region und des Ambiente, total überteuert. Barbetrieb nicht vorhanden. W-LAN im Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Große Ankündigungen laut Prospekt, wenig davon gehalten...enttäuschend. Preis--Leistung passt nicht !
