This is not a hotel, more like a hostel. I booked it for 2 nights and checked out the next morning. I had trouble finding the place, as I was looking for a sign "hotel". The fist surprise was that there is no staff at any time of the day. There is a key box on the wall that wanted an PIN code. I was never sent a PIN code. I tried to call the number given in an email, an arrogant voice said "no English", I tried to tell with my poor French that I need a PIN code. He hung up the phone. Then I tried to call several times for 10 min and the phone was off. I went to the restaurant in the same building to ask for help. First, an angry staff member told me to go away. After sitting for 10 min in the stairs thinking where to find a new hotel at 21 PM, a friendly waitress came to my help. When she phoned the number and with her beautiful French explained the situation, I got the PIN code and my Key. The room was very simple and the bed creaky. The tobacco smoke from the restaurant came to my room and made my eyes sting. There were restaurant clients hanging in the corridor and making noise until 01 AM, which I felt unsafe as a single female traveler. The church bell outside tolled at every hour during the night waking me up at every hour. I checked out in the morning and changed to an actual hotel for the second night.
