We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel is situated across the road from the train station, so very convenient; we found it to be a quiet location. A warm welcome greeted us on arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. We had a double room with a lake view in the annexe (we had to leave the annexe, walk about 20 metres outside and then enter the main hotel building for the breakfast room; not an issue). The room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. A good breakfast is provided. The Old Town is about a 10 minute walk, downhill. We didn’t find the uphill return walk a problem; there is a local bus service from the Old Town but we did not use this. Staff at the Tourist Information Office were very helpful; and friendly. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Neuchâtel.

Time of visit: 2005 Can't really remember much of the trip. It was a business Trip. What I have noticed though is that they haven't renovated the rooms since I was there :) Good view of the lake from the room. Very central. The bathroom was pretty ok.

Smiling and pleasant staff (receptionist and cleaning lady). The hotel is well located just opposite the train station and 10 min walk from the old town. The room is modern and large. The fridge is very useful, and an iron is available on request. However there is no air conditioning but a fan is available in the room. The view from my room was amazing! I will come back

Hotel overcharged me and would not refund. I settled our bill for the hotel without checking my original booking. When I discovered the hotel had overcharged us, the front staff desk said he was unable to offer a refund. Several other guests were also complaining their bills were incorrect.

Fantastisch geschlafen, wunderbar gegessen, schönste Aussicht auf den See und die Alpen (Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau etc.), Wunsch nach zwei Duvets wurde prompt erfüllt, ideale Lage direkt beim Bahnhof.... Dies nur einige Highlights zu diesem Hotel, das wir im Rahmen der "Tage der offenen Weinkeller" gebucht haben. Bei der Ankunft waren die Unterlagen, Eintritte und Gläser zum Anlass bereit und wir konnten das Zimmer im Annexe schon beziehen und gleich ohne Gepäck losgehen. Der Empfang war äusserst freundlich und wir haben auch noch gleich Plätze fürs Abendessen reserviert. Das Abendessen war von sehr hoher Qualität mit ausgefallenen Angeboten. Der Service war freundlich und humorvoll. Nach dem Essen konnten wir unser Zimmer mit bester Aussicht geniessen und haben dann wunderbar geschlafen, dank einer sehr angenehmen Matratze und einem guten Kissen. Da das Zimmer zum See lag, war es auch sehr ruhig. Am Morgen konnten wir uns bei einem reichlichen Frühstück stärken und mussten das Zimmer erst gegen Mittag abgeben. So konnten wir, da das Wetter nicht so rosig war, im Zimmer warten, bis es Zeit war zum Quai zu gehen und das Schiff nach Biel zu nehmen. Zu Fuss übrigens in etwa 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Es würde auch ein Bus fahren. Wir können das Hotel und das dazugehörende Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

La situation de l'hôtel est idyllique : vue imprenable sur le lac et les Alpes (la meilleure de la ville ?), dans les hauteurs (pas trop de circulation), à côté de la gare (sans le bruit), avec un parking à CHF 10.- par jour, que dire de plus ? Nous avions une chambre au deuxième étage, spacieuse, avec un balcon et la vue qui va avec, plutôt bien insonorisée, mais aussi spartiate, il faut le dire... Le petit-déjeuner était tout à fait correct, le personnel aussi. Donc c'est un très bon endroit pour 1 nuit en transit. Après, je ne sais pas, testez :-)

Nous étions logés dans l'annexe, une chambre très grande, plutôt une suite. Hôtel bien situé avec un restaurant en terrasse donnant sur le lac. Repas de qualité. L'hôtel fournit un petit carnet qui permet de prendre les transports en commun, de faire une ballade en bateau sur la lac en autres gratuitement. Nous sommes en Suisse et les prix sont suisses !
