Where do I begin? Location couldn’t be better. We had a sea view and at times felt we were on a cruise ship the sea was so near. Rooms were slightly dated but clean good size plenty of hot water and air con very efficient. Never had a problem getting a sunbed by the very small pool. Sunbeds and umbrella for two were equivalent to £12 per day on beach. Beach got very busy but presume you could always get one. Breakfast for me was very poor. My husband likes salad so was fine. Hot food was cold and we were encouraged to use microwave to warm it up! To us the staff were the let down apart from a couple of exceptions they were very sullen never smiled and weren’t interested in their guests. We were not alone in this opinion. Not sure if it is a Balkan culture but 90% of people in general never smiled said please or thank you and certainly didn’t make you feel welcome in their country. There was no happy holiday vibes at all. We holiday all over the world and have to be honest in saying we have never been anywhere with this attitude before. We spoke to Germans with the same opinion on service being NIL. Such a shame as beaches are fabulous but we would never come back.

The rooms were adequate maybe a little tired but were kept very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate- plenty of choice both sweet and savoury. I had a few lunches which were very reasonably priced, well presented and very enjoyable. The location is excellent with numerous restaurants and bars close by and the beautiful old town of Nessebar only 15 minutes walk. The massage lady Petya was excellent I arrived stressed and tired, however I left with a new body, a new face and very relaxed. I had excellent service from most of the staff but the bartender Galla and waitress Lili provided above and beyond. The lovely receptionist (unfortunately I don’t have her name) was also very helpful regarding pointing me in the right direction and giving advice as to what was worth seeing. All in all this hotel is value for money, in an excellent location and the standard of massage is worth experiencing.

We paid for a room with sea view and it was fantastic. Big balcony to look at the sea and old Nesebar town in the distance. Bed was most comfy and clean with kettle and fridge. Breakfast was a good spread with cheerful staff. At reception, young woman called Mira stood out indeed. She was helpful and smiling and willing to help with bus times and all. Overall a great stay and hope to return.

Had the best time here the end of August into September. Hotel and room was clean and spacious. The view was so beautiful from the balcony, we could see the old town and all along the beach. Lift takes you straight down to the beach, a few steps and your in the sea! Ideal for me and loved not having to walk to the beach as you literally walk out the lift and your on the beach! I never paid for the sun loungers on the beach, I never needed too being so close I’d go in sea then get lift back to the terrace pool where there are plenty sun loungers to enjoy. Pool is small but enough for a nice sip and a bit of a swim. The only downside with the sun loungers was people clipped towels onto beds but never hardly used them! This was so unfair on other guests who could have used these beds. I felt these towels should have been removed. I saw some people taking up 2 lots of beds so when the shade came they could move to the other bed. We went Bed & Breakfast and can say there was plenty choice for us, there was bacon, sausage, various other sausage, scrabbled eggs, fried eggs, beans. Toasted bread, croissants and buns as well as cheeses, fruit and cereal. Plenty choice. The 10-15min walk into Nessebars sold town was a lovely stroll, where you will find some nice, quaint shops and little streets with cafes to sit and people watch. It’s a must see and I guarantee you will love it. Overall I had the best time here. The best part for me was the SPA please of you love a massage ask for SYLVIA she is amazing and a lovely lady who helped me massively with my upper back. Cannot thank her enough and the prices are even better! Cheap but the best! I have had massages here in the UK and none are on par with this wonderful lady. Air con is free, not sure why someone put it was to pay for? Whatever you decide you will not be disappointed with this hotel.

I stayed at the Mirage in June 2022 with my wife and sister-in-law and we really loved this hotel. It was in a great location right on the beach and a 20 minute stroll from Nessebar old town. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff - especially Miroslava on reception and Martin in the restaurant. They were both so helpful and a real credit to the hotel. We were staying on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis with Jet2 holidays. The first few nights we were there, we chose dinner from an extensive set menu and then it changed to buffet service (not quite sure why). The food was a mixture of Bulgarian and other European dishes. My wife and I liked all the food but my sister-in-law didn't always enjoy some dishes. But, with the buffet, the choice was pretty good. The pool area was comfortable and the sea was very safe for swimming in. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and plan to return in the next couple of years. Nessebar is a UNESCO world heritage sight and has lovely cobbled streets, 2 harbours and lots of restaurants. It was generally cheap to eat out (about half of UK prices) and drinks were really cheap (about £1.60 in the hotel, £1.20 elsewhere). Nessebar suited us very well and we were handy for the shops and restaurants in the New Town too. (Nearby Sunny Beach would have been too busy for our taste). Hemingways restaurant in the Old Town was a favourite of ours.

Just had 2 weeks holiday at this hotel in June and was very happy with it. It was the first time we have booked into this hotel as we did,nt want a all inclusive hotel like we have had before. We had a room on the 3rd floor room 309 at the back of the hotel which looked straight out onto the beach so you can choose your sunbathing spot from your rooms balcony which also you will be able to see the old town of Nessebar. We booked on a b&b basis with the breakfast being a mix of continental and warm food, fresh fruit and fruit juice with warm drinks. The restaurant is very clean with the restaurant staff on hand to help clean your things away as soon as you are finished. They also serve food through the day and in the restaurant at night where you can sit on the terraced balcony and watch out over the sea. Our room was nice and big with a king size bed and plenty off room for the 2 of us.Plenty of room in the bathroom with a shower over the bath which the bath was quite high which some people may struggle to get into but it was fine for us. I will give a mention to the cleaning staff for our room who came in every day to clean and change the sheets and towels even when we had a do not disturb sign on the door which they abided by and just came back later. They did an excellent job and our room was always spotless. The hotel itself was quiet but i think the main seasons are between July and August. Over all we both liked this hotel for its position and cleanliness as well as the friendly staff and we will definitely book again.

Had a booking for 2 rooms with solid ********** confirmation, they couldn’t find it! Woman at the front desk super cold almost no English and instead of helping was doing the straight opposite… Don’t waste your time find a different location …
