Sol Nessebar Palace Resort & Aquapark - All Inclusive

I was really looking forward to my visit little did I know that it shut down end of September, We arrived late and was greeted by a security guard who was nice, on reception was victor a lovely young man very helpful, as it was late we received a brown paper bag either some food in, bread bun, butter, apple, cake, croissant and bottle of water it was basic but enough, The room was on par with travel lodge, we were on 3rd floor overlooking waste land at the front of the hotel and had a very small balcony it was cramped with 2 people on it, not that we could sit out the weather was very cloudy and windy. Yea and coffee and water were available through water dispenser and hot drinks machine on each corridor, not very pleasant for the people in the room opposite as it was very noisy, The hotel was very clean and our cleaner was lovely, foyer area and public areas were really clean, Food was plentiful and the cakes were amazing along with the watermelon, all drinks were self served, To be honest I sick of the sight of food by the end of the week. We made use of the indoor pool which was lovely, We were booked in till 1st October but hotel closed on 30th September So staff were surprised we were still there however we were looked after there was 12people left till late , We were there as the staff party was starting it was lovely to see them all coming in dressed up and I think it is a lovely thing for the company to do for them to be honest I wanted to stay and dance the night away with them, Would I return? No that’s only because it’s not for me, if I had young children I would probably feel different the water slides looked amazing, Don’t go late September

'm just back from my 10th Travel dept holiday, and I won't be back with you again. Six of us arrived at 11.30 pm in hotel in Bulgaria last Tuesday 16th, having booked three rooms with sea views and balconies, only to be told that two of the couples had to SHARE a room. One couple expected to stay in small dingy kids beds, no windows, dirty bed linen, diseased looking sofa outside the room, frayed tatty appearance in general. To expect two couples to SHARE a room was absolutely unforgivable. By the time it was apparent there was nothing the hotel would do, it was after midnight, too late to try elsewhere. We looked up flights home.

Hello, I chose this hotel for my summer vacation but it is a big disappointment. At first I was optimistic when I saw the big and bright room. The pillows are horrible, lumpy, without any shape. The bathroom is clean but the water does not drain in the shower. Although it is a 5 star all inclusive hotel, you have to pay for the spa (sauna, hammam or salt room, indoor pool). The drinks provided are of very poor quality (this applies to soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and coffee). The food is sometimes good but not very varied, there is a lot of variety in fruit. The cakes are of very poor quality. They have the same texture and seem to be the same synthetic cream but with different essences in it. The water park is interesting but does not seem to have very good safety measures, you can hit your head when sliding down the slide very easily, especially children. Everything related to children's entertainment is paid, except for the shows held by the animators. I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Staying at Nessebar Palace Hotel has been a relaxing and wonderful experience. Myself and life long friend, arrived early hours of the morning and was greeted warmly by night staff. We were given a food parcel each as a welcome, for arriving after the food facilities had shut down for the day. Only reception appeared to be open. We were escorted to our room by a night porter who took our luggage and referrenced the free WiFi. He left before we had chance to tip him, thank you to whoever you were. We spent the majority of the week using the sun loungers by the pool, relaxing, reading and eating. (My friend would like to praise the availability of Banana ice cream! ) The food was delicious, with a huge variety of choice. My friend who is particular regarding her food, found enough choice to suit her palate and praised the Vegetable Stew, the wide variety of fruit and the Blueberry Cake as her main favourite items. The waiting staff were attentive and polite, although at times there was a language barrier for some. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant experience immensely. We used the shop at various times and found the shop keeper, pleasant and informative. We used the on site Sea Taxi to travel to Old Town Nessebar for a sight seeing afternoon. The trip was very enjoyable, traveling across the bay and was one of the highlights of our week. ️ Our week away here was a wonderful, relaxing time and we would recommend to family and friends. Currently staying here and hotel is not bad but the food needs to improve. Not much option for vegetarians apart from pizza chips and bread. Some salad. Does not cater for Indians.

Don't waste your money.... Not 5 star. So here we go, we turned up late from our flight to be given a food bag at reception with a rock hard bread bun and a bottle of water. Staff are very rude and ignorant. Food looks good but that's as far as I will go. If you want to be sober then this is holiday for you. There is loads of alcohol drinks, cocktail, one choice of beer and gin ect but it's all watered down. I'm still here writing this review and have noticed people buying bottles of booze from local shops says it all really. Room is absolutely disgusting. No kettle or water and empty fridges that don't work and it's not just my room it's my wife's to as we got big family and need 2 rooms. A travel lodge is better than this place. PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY when booking a holiday here. I will say one good thing, the beach is lovely and black sea warmer than pool.
