Hello, I chose this hotel for my summer vacation but it is a big disappointment. At first I was optimistic when I saw the big and bright room. The pillows are horrible, lumpy, without any shape. The bathroom is clean but the water does not drain in the shower. Although it is a 5 star all inclusive hotel, you have to pay for the spa (sauna, hammam or salt room, indoor pool). The drinks provided are of very poor quality (this applies to soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and coffee). The food is sometimes good but not very varied, there is a lot of variety in fruit. The cakes are of very poor quality. They have the same texture and seem to be the same synthetic cream but with different essences in it. The water park is interesting but does not seem to have very good safety measures, you can hit your head when sliding down the slide very easily, especially children. Everything related to children's entertainment is paid, except for the shows held by the animators. I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Staying at Nessebar Palace Hotel has been a relaxing and wonderful experience. Myself and life long friend, arrived early hours of the morning and was greeted warmly by night staff. We were given a food parcel each as a welcome, for arriving after the food facilities had shut down for the day. Only reception appeared to be open. We were escorted to our room by a night porter who took our luggage and referrenced the free WiFi. He left before we had chance to tip him, thank you to whoever you were. We spent the majority of the week using the sun loungers by the pool, relaxing, reading and eating. (My friend would like to praise the availability of Banana ice cream! ) The food was delicious, with a huge variety of choice. My friend who is particular regarding her food, found enough choice to suit her palate and praised the Vegetable Stew, the wide variety of fruit and the Blueberry Cake as her main favourite items. The waiting staff were attentive and polite, although at times there was a language barrier for some. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant experience immensely. We used the shop at various times and found the shop keeper, pleasant and informative. We used the on site Sea Taxi to travel to Old Town Nessebar for a sight seeing afternoon. The trip was very enjoyable, traveling across the bay and was one of the highlights of our week. ️ Our week away here was a wonderful, relaxing time and we would recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a enjoyable stay.

Definitely not 5 star hotel. Not my cup of tea, the hotel is old style and my requestskj were not met even I adressed to the management. As we booked 2 rooms with sea view I got ones at the second floor, barely a parking lot, because all the Romanian have come in Bulgaria by car (the staff lame excuse). Not going to return here and maybe if Melia management sees this it will ask some questions about investments, renovation of the location and updated to a decent 4 star. Leave the 5 star experience to the other resorts that respect the customer as Grifid Noa, Reina del Mar, Wave, Voya.

The bed was really good (soft). The food was amazing, you had a lot of variety (If you go, you really need to try their burgers). They offer a lot of activities every day with their own animation team, who were superb while we stayed. In the evening you had a kids show, where the little ones could dance with some of the animation team, and after that you had a evening show that changed every day. To sum it all up: if you want to stay somewhere with your family, this is the right place.

Where do I start! When I booked this in August 2024 the description sounded great and offered great restaurants and other features of the hotel. When we got there I couldn’t help but realise there was only one restaurant! I then went back onto the Jet 2 Holiday app and saw that they had adjusted certain features of their hotel to only start from June…. And we went in May. I was so angry, if that was the case when I booked it I would have never of booked that hotel. The Chinese and Italian restaurant were closed, massage outside area and the extra snack bars and water taxis on the beach were also closed! I then started to realise that my jewellery was rusting from their inside pool and quickly realised they used salt to the clean their pools and not chlorine, that then gave me a lovely ear infection from my piercing going weird because the gold hoop literally rusted! And other guests were slowly realising their jewellery was also going weird and the reception team literally didn’t care. They also didn’t care that the medical team they referred me to treated me so badly and tried to intimidate me to get procedures done that I didn’t need to try and get more travel insurance money out of me, it was horrible! The food was average and simple dishes literally had no flavour which was such a shame, the table next to me and my son then realised their chicken was pink… slowly lost my appetite lol The kids club was super super basic but came in handy when the weather wasn’t good! They also started their kids disco really late and was over in quite a quick time. Overall it was really disappointing as the beach as well didn’t have anything down there but old broken sun beds under a shaded area and wasn’t clean at all. The hotel in general had so much potential as it is huge and the water slides were fun but the pool was literally ice cold all the time. It is a shame that their entertainment team and kids team was so small as it could have been so much better than what it was. I definetly won’t be returning here or to Bulgaria as it just isn’t developed enough and they shouldn’t be selling holidays before June when nothing is open! So gutting when you work hard and save this money to go somewhere and you just keep getting disappointed.

We had a great 10 days (with children aged 11 and 13) and we highly recommend the hotel. Everything was excellent - food, cleanliness, entertainment and service. We want to express our gratitude to the entire staff and especially to Gergana from the restaurant, Kremena (the smileiest ice cream woman), Richo from the animation team. Guys, 5 stars are not enough.

We stayed in the may half term with our 2 children. Firstly I’ll start with the good points: The room we had was lovely and big (the junior suite), The balcony was great with a great view, the water park was great for the kids and my partner loved it too, always ample sunbeds around the pool, the food was good and the range of meats they had each day was great, the drinks were lovely and so much choice, the visit to the old town was wonderful and the camal park was great! Bad points: There was lots more things that you could pay for which I guess does give guests more choice which is nice but we ended spending a lot more than anticipated so maybe if you just except there could be some added extras for children then it wouldn’t be so bad!, the food could get quite repetitive (we stayed for 2 weeks), there was a lot that wasn’t open due to the time of year that we went - we expected this as it did say on the website but when we were there we thought some (not all) variety could of been nice, some of the staff could learn to smile lol (some were lovely), the cleaners I feel could be lazy some days and didn’t clean the room properly, don’t bother with sunny beach it’s rubbish ha! Overall: we had a great holiday, and even though there was a few bad points that did not really bother us at all, I think it all depends on who you go with and what you make of things! We had a fantastic time and we wish we were back sunning it up in Bulgaria.

Just home from a fantastic week at this amazing hotel, travelled with my 11 year old son. So much to do and the hotel is in a great location. Large spotless rooms, friendly staff and great food. Only one negative is that all alcoholic drinks apart from wine and beer come from a machine, these are all awful which is a shame for such a great hotel
