Aphrodite Beach Hotel

This really is a wonderful hotel. We have stayed in many hotels worldwide and this is up there with our favourites. It is not the largest, or plushest, hotel, nor does it have such things as a spa or pool but it offers a really comfortable, relaxing, soul- and body-refreshing experience. The staff are tremendous - everyone, but everyone, works hard to look after you and nothing is too much trouble. There is great attention to detail. If you can run to the extra expense, do book a suite. The rooms are large, air-conditioned, have a large and very comfortable bed, big bathrooms and private terrace with table, chairs and sun-loungers and the most magnificent view of the bay. The beach is a short walk away and the hotel provides beach towels. It is shingle rather than sand, so beach shoes are sensible, but the water is clean and the beach is uncrowded. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided by the municipality for Euro 7.50 a day for two loungers. The breakfast is buffet style and there is a good choice of hot and cold food, and it is kept well stocked right up to the end of service at 10am. As with dinner (buffet or a la carte), you eat on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. We loved Aphrodite Beach and look forward to returning.

Such a beautiful hotel. This is the second time we've stayed here. The hotel is on a stunning coastline, with amazing views, and luscious gardens. It has such a calm atmosphere, and everyone is so friendly and kind. The food is also great, choosing from the restaurant menu or the buffet, which was delicious, with such a variety of food to choose from. The rooms are also lovely, mattresses very comfortable, and so clean with everything you need. Air con and fans work well. It's a very short walk down steps to the beach which is perfect for swimming and spending the day on sunbeds which you pay around 7 euros for. The hotel shows real care of attention to you and your experience. It's a gem of a place in a stunning part of Cyprus.

We’ve stayed several times here and always have the best time. The service, food, standard of accommodation are all excellent! We can’t fault a single thing here, beautiful grounds, comfortable room, excellent fresh food and such a hard working team.

Super friendly staff, the hotel was right on the beach and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. We loved walking up to Aphrodites birthplace beach. Gorgeous garden and great breakfast! Easy to get the bus too. Couldn’t have asked for more!

This is a delightful home from home. The room is fabulous, the beds are comfy, breakfast is delicious and plentiful and I love the owner, he is so friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful unspoilt part of Cyprus. It has been a wonderful treat to be here this week and we will miss it.

Lovely, family run hotel, staff efficient & friendly. Excellent breakfast, nice buffet dinner Worth paying for a suite - very spacious with great sea view. Ideal location for walks on the Akamai peninsula & seafood restaurants just a short drive away
