I stayed a total of 3 nights at Harmony Guesthouse, 1 night before my overnight Kruger camping safari, then 2 more nights after the safari. The location of the guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy center. It is gated so the place is more secure. The property has a nice swimming pool, though I didn’t get to use it since it was still winter time, plus I was busy with tours all day. As for the room, it is very spacious, bright, and clean, & the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern & clean, and the hot water shower was fantastic. They serve English breakfast for an additional fee, but it is worth it as the portions were big & it was very good. The guesthouse does have a generator, which helped a lot, since the power went out, due to South Africa’s load-shedding schedules, a few times during my stay. Only downside for me was that since I didn’t have a car, I couldn’t walk around the area or to the city center to buy what I needed since I was advised that it’s not safe. My flight into Nelspruit arrived late in the afternoon so I arrived late to the guesthouse. I was then hoping to walk around to get dinner; luckily, I had some snacks with me that sufficed. But for those with a car, there is parking at the guesthouse for convenience.
