Campuestohan Highland Resort

Campuestohan Highland Resort

Talisay City
I and my friends just got home from campuestuhan highland resort,.I guess I need to write and post this review for them to evaluate their service and all. 1. SLOW AND POOR ONLINE PAYMENT TRANSACTION- it should be a surprised birthday celebration for our friend and it was planned by his husband but the thing was it was difficult to call someone in their side who will assist and confirm If the payment was received by them. We paid in half for 2 days, and when were about to check out my friend settled the balance of our stay. She was so shocked that the amount endorsed by the their staff is not the same amount she deposited in advance. .. good thing was one of our friend managed to keep the receipts in his email.. You guys should have a proper endorsement, specially in this kind of stuff. As what I observed in your information desk or F.O you don’t have any telephone or even a desktop where you can monitor your coming and outgoing guest. it is very important because most of the people will transact through online to easily without hustle. 2. ATTITUDE and POOR SERVICE - when we arrived we don’t feel a warm welcome by the Front office staff, or just ask how’s your travel or what because we’re so delayed to check in because of some malfunction of the car. I’m not saying here the we want to be felt important. I’m just giving you a tip on how to make your first time guest to be your repeated guest. And when we’re about to check out not even the F.O or the guards when we left said. thank you for visiting or come again, or How’s your stay at campuestuhan. .. .. it’s just so sad if all of the guest that came here feel what we felt. I don’t know why some of their staff in the restaurant, when we will ask question they don’t make an eye contact. And I don’t like how annoyed their face look like.. they keep doing what they’re doing even we asked them a question. And the end we don’t understand what they said. 3. INEFFICIENT HOUSEKEEPING- I don’t know if the housekeeping staff knows that we’re four staying in a Bonita hut but they given us 2 towels only, good thing we brought some towels. It’s really hard to call or ask them because you have to walk before you can ask what you need. .so by the next day good thing they give us complete toiletries including toothbrushes as well. 4. LACK OF AMENITIES- the room is nice but there is no TV, no ref no telephone.so sad. 5. WE JUST LOVE THE PLACE AND THE VIEW.

Palmas Del Mar Conference Resort Hotel

Palmas Del Mar Conference Resort Hotel

Bacolod
It took 2 years of planning and finding the perfect spot to hold our 35th High School Reunion. We zeroed in on Palmas Del Mar for it's tropical atmosphere and great amenities. From the onset, I was assisted by Reyzil who was so professional and helpful in selecting our Theme, buffet selection and giving me options for our budget. Everyone enjoyed the food, the music and the decorations. The Marketing staff are also ever ready to help when Reyzil isn't available namely: Joyce, Stephanie,Emy, Eunice, Markie and Julie. The rooms are kept neat and clean by the best housekeeping crew: Maylene, Fe, Eleanor and Anabel. Breakfast has a set menu and you have to order it with Jackie and the rest of the servers who always smile despite the demands place on them. Thanks also to Armando, the Head Manager who was present the whole time we were having our reunion and is hands on and dependable when needed. From the Bellman Rodel and others (sorry I forgot their names) who never hesitate to lend a hand with our luggage with a pleasant attitude and a smile. Mark, the security guard ensures our safety around the property. One of our classmates fell on the pool as he was drunk and the lifeguard came to the rescue to save him. Wow, I can't ask for a topnotch service. You guys are awesome! I truly appreciate all your excellent service.I won't hesitate to recommend Palmas Del Mar to anyone not just for the beauty of the place but the awesome staff. Thanks for making our party a huge success. Hope to do it again with you in the future!

OYO 561 Abn Hostel
3.1/514 Reviews
We came the other day at OYO ABN hostel with excitement knowing that we can have a comfortable stay/rest from our 2 night tiring trip in Cadiz City, and to our surprise... 😊 Our excitement was turned into disappointment! Because: 1. The floor was dirty and it somehow had random footprints?? It's not even fully furnished, no tiles at all from down to upstairs. 2. We were hardly able to lock the doors and windows due to rust. 3. TV (which facing the wall when we came in the room 😆)/AC/HEATER in the toilet were not working properly and seemed like props for display. 😁😁😁 4. Linens/beddings/towels smells very unpleasant and felt itchy. 5. Tap on the sink were broken. 6. Water from tap smells like rust. 7. Cockroaches under the bed (maybe because of the carton they put under the bed. 8. Double deck were cut in half to make it single bed, 🤣 ladder was just placed under the bed. 9. The electricity got cut off in the middle of the night and was hot due to the AC not working. *We actually booked 2 rooms but we're able to use 4 (and supposedly for 5 days but we stayed only for 8hrs) amaaaazziingggg!!!! Isn't it? 😊 its all because of the above complains hehehehe😊😊😊 Anyweiz, thank you for the 2 pcs of rejoice shampoo and 2 small size of safeguard body soap.... At least, really kept us safe from germs 😜
Sugarland Hotel
3.6/524 Reviews
The Sugarland Hotel is one of the older hotels in Bacolod. Although its size is relatively small, it is well-maintained overall and it has character. The rooms have traditional motifs and are beautiful even if age shows scratches on the hardwood floors. Quite importantly in a hotel, the bed was very comfortable and unlike so many hotels in the Philippines, the window AC worked very well and was able to keep the room very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was definitely Filipino breakfast (not Western), but it was delicious. It is worth getting a rate that includes breakfast. On the weekend, the venue was busy with wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other major events--and yet the room was quiet. As for location, it is on a main road but near the edge of town. Still, major malls were generally less than 15 minutes away and taxi fare to them was 100 pesos or less. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and prefer it to L'Fisher.
Mainstreet Pension House
3.8/514 Reviews
The location is 1km south of city centre and is still in walking distance. The check in was smooth despite same-day booking. The lady who checked was very warm and courteous. It's like she welcome her friend to her home. The room was neat, clean, and spacious. The only downside is its proximity to the main street as the name of this place implies. You hear the traffic noise intermittently at night. Earplug will help though. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
RedDoorz Near New Government Center

The staff were helpful. Cafe had limited items but breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Location is not far from new government centre where you can find many good restaurants and bars. Facilities were limited. All in all, my stay was fine.
Brazaville Beach Resort
3.5/53 Reviews
After a long, but cozy and relaxing ride from Dumaguete City we were greeted with beautiful sunset scenes while sipping brewed coffee at their beach front. Our next 3 days were full of amazing surprises. Friendly staff always bring their smiles with them to work. Sumptuous food serve every meal time. I love their cheese sticks for cocktails. Serene water and clean beach for our early morning and late afternoon swims. Clean and well-supplied room was maintained during stay. What caught my attention was the ambience remains quiet and peaceful on top of their full-packed guests list. Not to mention the on-going construction to meet the guest reservation demands for the holy week. Every time I come to spend few days at the resort, there are always new surprises. Overall the quality, reasonable rates both for rooms and food, exceed expectations.
Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod
4.5/5101 Reviews
I decided to try this hotel again because the location was close to the port. While I found it better than my last visit it was still not on par with the best hotels in Bacolod. The good: - The hotel is clean - being attached to the SM Mall with lots of choices for food and shopping was great - Sleep quality was acceptable - water pressure in the shower was great The bad - breakfast was especially bad. No bacon, no egg station, the only juice was calamari’s- how do you provide a breakfast buffet in a tropical country with no mango or pineapple juice??? The coffee and tea is serve yourself. This simply does not compare to the breakfast buffets at the better hotels in Bacolod . The no longer provide individually bottled water in the room. Instead it’s a large bottle that at least in my room was not marked as filtered, so I went out and bought water. - overall the feel is as though they are trying to get by on the cheap. The low quality desk chair, lack of individuality bottled water, poor quality towels, etc. all lead to this feel It’s not bad, just not worth the price. There are much better options in Bacolod for less money
