If you are looking for comfort, you are in the wrong place. These huts are original, have a good bed, running water and electricity. This is what makes the accommodation so charming. What is really special is the intention behind this project, which aims to support the children in the village, and the warmth and dedication of Sizwe, who looks after the huts and the guests. I hope the project is successful and brings good things to the village.

If you want to stay in a traditionally constructed ‘beehive’ Swazi house with a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom, this is the place. Swazi Dreams is a work in progress though. The surroundings are still a bit bare as the neighbours cows are eating the landscaping. There are good views of the surrounding hills. There is instantaneous gas hot waterr. In the bedoom there are battery powered lights. There is a kitchen under construction where you can recharge your phone. The host will cook a braai (barbecue) for you if given notice. Instead, we drove to the excellent Manzini pub/restaurant
