"Although the hotel's location was a little difficult to find, it was very good value for money.
You can see the pyramids from the rooftop, and the majestic view was overwhelming.
As for the shower, be aware that it is close to the toilet, so you will get very wet."
"We spent wonderful time at Hayat Hotel and Giza. All stuff of the hotel are so amazing and friendly, especially Mohamed, Semir and Ahmed on reception who were exceptional. They were really putting so much effort in taking care of us and making sure we have everything we needed in the hotel and our tour trips around the Giza and Cairo. Muhamed gave as a warm and friendly welcome, surving us fresh friut juices that were a real refreshment and we really needed it after we got scammed on the airport. We fell in love with the view from the roof top of the hotel, which has the best possition and the best view you can get in Giza, with all the Pyramids and Sphinx like on the palm of your hand. As we seen this view and friendly stuff of the hotel we decided to stay longer in Hayat Hotel. So Mohamed extended our stay in the hotel for 3 more days with the same amount we payed over tour operator and got us better room with a view. He also gave us new Egyptian sim card with mobile data. Hotel offered us great tours around Cairo and Alexandria, and we had excellent time seeing all the beautiful ancient places and learned a lot new things about this marvelous and mysterious place of Egyptian culture. With our tour guides, Hala and Ibrahim, and driver Atif, who are all wonderful people and were doing their best to make our stay in Egypt unforgetable, we spent 4 days in sightseeing. The food in hotel is great, very tasty, for a free breakfast you'll get many choices of traditional Egyptian, Mediteranian, continental and vegetarian kitchen, with coffee and tea, and fresh served fruits. It is a real life-time experince to eat your morning breakfast and drink your coffee at the footstep of the Sphinx and pyramids which energy is felt strongly. Sabir and all waiters and weitresses were nice and helpful in their service. We got lunch or dinner for free everyday, since it's in the tour package when you book the trip tour with the hotel. It was a great and lovely expeirence, we enjoyed a lot in Hayat hotel and if we plan trip to Cairo again we would for sure come here again. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone."
"The room was incredibly large and the location was fantastic. The staff helped carry our luggage upstairs. You'd never guess how great the location is! Just a short walk to the entrance to the Sphinx, which was highly recommended on Xiaohongshu. I'm honored to be the third guest at this hotel. The bathroom was enormous, even bigger than my dorm at school. The photo shows the view from the hotel rooftop."
"Very very happy with this hotel. It is very clean. Modern. There is very comfortable bedroom. Proposes socks and what is needed for the bathroom. Great view from the terrace on the pyramids. Personnel very listening. They were all there for us . They offered us an airport ship for not gallery . I recommend without hesitation. Thanks to the entire team"
"The following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day, and the room I stayed in that day. Hotel location: Cairo has convenient transportation. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: There is no dry and wet separation, as is the case in B&Bs. Hotel service staff: I personally feel that they are very service-minded. Although it is a B&B, the service is very good and I was quite careless during my stay. The hotel pictures match the actual room pictures. I had dinner at his house in the evening, and my aunt cooked delicious food. I bought fruit for breakfast. It’s really nice to watch the sunset over the pyramids upstairs from their house."
"The hotel is one of the oldest hotels nearest to the pyramids. It's one minute walking distance to pyramids main entry. As an old infrastructure they tried to renovate at their best but however there may have lacking ie. Lights functioning, lock system etc. But I recommend all for their wholehearted support and generosity towards their guests. They are all the way helpful. You can also book transportation from them, I believe that will reduce your troubles outside with taxi negotiations."
"I recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay.
The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing.
The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel.
While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis.
Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!"
"This hotel truly surpassed my expectations. Its location is excellent, just 50 meters downstairs from the entrance to the Giza Pyramids complex. Compared to the many shabby accommodations in the vicinity, it stood out as the only clean, well-kept, and rather upscale-looking hotel. It's exceptionally clean and tidy, the staff provides excellent service, and the rooms are comfortable, on par with standards expected of a good mid-range hotel chain. Our pyramid-view room offered direct views of the pyramids right from the window. The rooftop restaurant also boasts stunning, direct views of the Giza Pyramids. Breakfast was quite extensive; although predominantly Western fare, the roasted eggplant was particularly delicious. It's almost flawless. If I had to mention a minor point, the rooftop restaurant is quite expensive, with many dishes priced around 70-80 RMB. Luckily, more affordable dining options like KFC and Pizza Hut are conveniently located nearby."
"We stayed as a group of 6 people in 3 rooms. The rooms were neat and clean, and the location was very close to the Giza Pyramids. The rooftop offered a fantastic view of the pyramids. Both staff members, Yusuf and Noor, were very friendly and helpful. The place is budget-friendly. My only recommendation for Solima would be to improve the breakfast by changing the menu daily, as we stayed for 4 days and found it repetitive. Otherwise, the overall experience was excellent Keep to do good Job”"
"The location is great. You can see the pyramids and the Sphinx from the balcony of the room. The restaurant is completely facing the landscape, and you can see the pyramid light show at night! The breakfast is also delicious, and the staff service is also good. It would be more perfect if the electric water heater is changed to a larger capacity one."

EEsee MunkhIf this hotel is in your budget, JUST BOOK IT! You can’t find any hotel that is better than this. I swear, Al Farida is one of the 2 best hotels in Giza!
I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.
TtianmidIt is super close to the east gate of the pyramid, 2 minutes, and the window is the pyramid and the Sphinx. Although it is the hotel environment, it is a great scenery. It is not too good to watch the pyramid light show on the rooftop of the building, saving the tickets to go in.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was definitely convenient — it’s very close to the train station, and there’s even a convenience store just a minute's walk away, which made grabbing essentials really easy. Every day, I could see the pyramids from my room, which was absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of my stay.
The hotel staff were also very kind and helpful, always willing to assist with anything I needed. However, despite these positives, the hotel itself was quite disappointing in terms of cleanliness. The lobby and hallways felt a bit neglected, and my room didn’t seem very well maintained — the carpet looked worn out and there was a musty smell that lingered throughout my stay.
Also, even though the location is great, the entrance to the hotel was hard to find and had an uninviting atmosphere that made me hesitate before going in. Overall, it’s a place with some unforgettable views and kind staff, but if you care a lot about cleanliness and overall atmosphere, it might not be the best choice.
SSkee82Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory.
Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk..
This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything..
The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience,
The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged..
Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning.
The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show.
Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views
AAkkarpanLocation, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.
DDaniel & Cici Around the WorldGiza Pyramid Inn is very conveniently located, right in front of the Pyramids, offering an amazing view from the rooftop. The breakfast was very good, and the ability to wake up and see the pyramids right outside is definitely a highlight of this stay.
However, there are a few important things to consider. While the pyramid view is stunning, the neighborhood itself leaves much to be desired. The area is chaotic, not well-organized, and quite dirty. As this is a very touristic spot, you will constantly encounter people asking for money or trying to overcharge you for something, which makes it essential to stay alert at all times.
The hotel itself follows the same pattern. The tours they offer are significantly overpriced, likely because some people pay for the convenience, but the prices are far from reasonable. Additionally, we were promised a takeaway breakfast due to our early flight, but when the time came to collect it, they said it was not available. Despite confirming our departure time in advance, we ended up having to buy food at the airport, which was disappointing.
Overall, if you are staying here for the location and the pyramid view, it might be worth it. However, be prepared for the typical tourist traps and be mindful of overpricing. It’s a place that offers convenience, but with some frustrations along the way.
AAnonymous UserDidn’t stay in the room that was booked. Bedroom wasn’t clean, there was urine on the toilet seat and internet barely worked. Also a lot of appliances ie phone was in the room but didn’t work… good view from roof but got very very hot as there is no shelter or wind protection.
캐캐서린 운구랴누The staff is excellent, the hotel is located near the pyramids. The hotel offers excursions. The room is dirty, they did not clean it, the trash was not taken out. You always have to ask for water. The view from the terrace to the pyramids is good, the main thing is not to pay attention to the streets and other buildings ... The local supermarket is close by, it is convenient to buy what you need, but the hotel also has a menu. There was no price, no robe, no slippers in the room. The wardrobe and safe are broken. The noise from the street and neighboring rooms is unreal. It is impossible to sleep ....
GGuest UserThe hotel's selling point is the pyramid that can be seen from the rooftop.
It's a shame that the shower in the room was cold.
The building is not on the street and is set back a little.
CCynthia TerryI book in hotel Best view I'm from California USA I booked 4 nights and I really enjoyed my time there I m solo travel and immediately the hotel staff were willing to help, They made me feel like home The location is great you can drink you coffee or cocktails facing the Pyramid I recommend this Hotel LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Thank You again ******* and hotel staff ******* for You hotel recomendation
