What an abomination of a “hotel”. For gods sake, don’t go anywhere near it. I made the huge mistake of booking this hovel in the middle of a slum. There were no reviews on Trip.Com at that time (about two months ago) but the pictures looked great, so took the chance. I arrived there around 4am. It was located in dirty alleyway with mangey dogs roaming about outside. Large black doors that were locked. No lights, no lobby, no reception. There was a little shop open across the alley way. The taxi driver spoke to someone in the shop who then called to some little kid around 10 years old, who then opened the door. Inside, there was nothing but a filthy elevator able to fit one person in it. The kid indicated that I should go to the top floor, which I did. The elevator stopped and there appeared to be no way to get out of it. When I pushed on a plastic panel in the door, it fell out. I then wrangled the door open by putting my arm outside the broken panel. The little kid was there. He then knocked on a door and an adult stuck his head out. By this time I had already made up my mind to call the whole thing a loss but just out of interest, wanted to see the room anyway. The adult gave the key to the kid, who showed me the room. It wasn’t quite as filthy and run down as the outside of this dump but, not far off. I ended up abandoning the booking. The taxi driver took us to another excellent and reasonably priced hotel, of which there are many around the pyramids. DON’T GO NEAR THIS PLACE, you will regret it.
