A great location, set in woodland with plenty of shade.Lots of Spring flowers about as we visited early March. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but clean. Hot water for washing up.A basic bar and shop with friendly bartender who spoke English. We went in low season and there was no need to book, loads of space. Just a few minutes to Nazare which has a beautiful beach, shopping and plenty of bars/restaurants. There is a playground for little ones on site and a shallow pool (open in high season) Would definitely stay again, plenty of birdsong and a very friendly resident cat.

An extremely nice camping site, located not too far away from the beach resort, in a pine tree forest. Each camper location was clearly designated, with its own water faucet, electric power supply and shade! The reception staff was very helpful, the restaurant Dom Henrique was excellent, its staff super friendly and professional, the little shop full of useful products and the sanitary facilities extremely clean. To be highly recommended!

Having just left an Orbitur site Caminha this was terrible and way off the standard of the previous. Trying to navigate onto the pitch between large pine trees is a joke and pitches definitely not up to size. Toilets have only one toilet roll dispenser outside the cubicles. Was quite shocked to see fires being lit in a pine forest area covered in needles. Owning property in Portugal I am well aware of the fire regs and this was scary. Glad I only stayed 2 nights and will definitely not be back. Valado managers you need to visit Caminha and see what is expected of you.

Las instalaciones deportivas están totalmente descuidadas. Hay una pista de tenis que se ve abandonada desde hace años. Y dos mesas de ping pong de cemento igual de descuidadas, con la pintura desconchada. Se ve que no las han renovado en muchos años... Zona de acampada libre en pinar con apenas zonas llanas. No es ideal para bicicletas, demasiadas pendientes...

We hebben in het Cantina Restaurant , heerlijk gegeten , prijs kwaliteit was prima in orde . De hulpvaardige bediening van Mytchell was geweldig, echt een aanrader. Ze hadden lekkere gerechten en voldoende keus. Ook erg goed advies over de wijn door Mytchell .

Accueil sans saveur et choix des emplacements limité car des travaux de nettoyages sont en cours. Wifi impossible a attraper et rapport qualité/prix trop fort compte tenu de la basse saison.......attention a ne pas s'enliser a certains endroits et emplacements ou il faut de rocher les remorques.

Si vas con mascotas NO lo recomiendo. Después de hacer más de 600km con reserva realizada por internet con antelación de más de 7 días, llegamos al camping y un pequeño letrero tamaño folio en el mostrador nos avisa que el camping Valado está infectado de orugas procesionarias (mortales para los perros). Está claro que por la salud de mis familiares perrunos no nos pudimos quedar. Al reclamar que podían avisar por la página web de ellos, la chica me contesta con un gesto de hombros dándola igual y que el dinero de la fianza, nuestros 85€ no íbamos a ver nada. Conclusión .. 1 semana de reserva que tenía en este camping y sin saber dónde dormir con una caravana a cuestas. Sin el dinero, y con una hoja de reclamaciones puesta. Camping Valado avisar en internet del problema de las orugas al hacer reserva lo mínimo que podéis hacer.
