This is our 2nd year .. we absolutely loved it so much that we extended our stay another 10 nights .. the hotel is beautiful & clean we chose the rooms with the private pool the beach is across the road & is crystal clean .. but .. it is the people that work here that make this hotel more than a 5 star ⭐️ rating for us .. from Daniel on the beach , Maria & the gang in the beach bar .. Eva in the kitchen & Evangelia in the breakfast area ( amazing barista coffee!) & of course the amazing staff in reception!!.. Vangellis & Evdokia & little Anna ( evening shift) made every day a special day .. just by greeting us with a “Kαλή Μέρα” or a “ Καλή Νύχτα” every day & never forget the absolutely amazing Anna ( one of the owner’s ) .. nothing was ever too much or could not be done!! Best holiday ever !! We stayed 6 weeks this year but plan to go back next year for at least 3 months !!

We stayed at Aegean Palace at Plaka beach for 8 nights in july. We booked a garden view junior suite, and we loved our time here. The room Was Nice and clean, and we had a balcony overlooking both the garden, pool area and the sea. There was a safe in the room and also a fridge and a hairdryer. Breakfast Was great with lots of healthy alternatives such as vegetables fresh fruit, eggs and ham, along with different kinds of breads and pastries. Fresh orange juice and mixed fruit juice. There was a coffee machine but they also made coffees up on request. The area was nice and quiet. Restaurants on the beach side, not a party place, which suited us well. The hotel area is nice, but the surroundings outside of the hotel premises looks a bit tired and unfinished. The hotel had a good size pool with nice sunbeds. We never had a problem getting a sunbed during the afternoon, but there were quite a few people putting there towel out in the morning, even though they were not laying on the beds. The hotel offered beach towels up on request. On the beach there are a lot of sunbeds. However if you prefer to lay on the sand there is plenty of room for that. The sundbeds and one umbrella were € 20 and € 30 per day for two people. At the Aegean Palace you can spend the amount on food and drinks on the beach. The beach was beautiful with crystal clear water. Walking distance to the neighbouring beach Agia Anna. We would love to come back💗

Just stayed in a suite with a pool, much worse than expectations for price paid. “Free” departure port transfer: chased them 4 times with either no response or assurances it was in hand. It was not. I had to order a cab for 25EUR instead. It’s not that much money but ultimately was annoyed after chasing so much. Rubbing salt in the wound was at the same time, others were getting the transport from the airport in front of us. Lots and lots of bugs in the hotel rooms, had to kill about 30 every night and woke up with lots of bites. The bed was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. So loud. Move slightly and the springs make awful loud noises. We are not large people either. Potential signs of bed bugs - beware. Random 35EUR charges, which was not city tax. On the other hand, the location is incredible though, the beech is lovely just in front. Hence why not 1 star review.

We have just had a wonderful week at the palace ! Junior suit very comfortable and spotless clean . Fabulous pool , excellent staff . Big thanks to Danyal on the beach waiter who greets you every day with a smile and fabulous service . Also Anna on night reception is so friendly and kind , she took time to get to know us and share her great tips for a great holiday on her fabulous island Thank you Anna . Yes there is a minimum consumption charge 15euro for beach beds but you get your drinks and beds for a decent rate and the quality of food and drinks is good. My only tip is if you like English or breakfast tea take some as they don’t have it , they say they don’t get many British guests and they still never got it even when we asked , breakfast items, a good selection but could be kept a bit warmer on saying that Don’t hesitate to book minor things but overall excellent!

We stayed here in October as part of our honeymoon. They had multiple types of rooms to choose from and we got one with our own private pool. The place was beautiful and well maintained right on the beautiful beach in Plaka. The staff was kind and check in was easy. They arranged for a free transfer from the airport for us. The room was beautiful and clean and they provided lots of clean towels and towels for the beach. Afterwards we went to Santorini and we immediately missed our piece of paradise in Naxos. We called Aegean palace and asked if we could come back. They were in the process of closing down for the season but they let us come back even though we would be the only guests there! We were so happy to come back to what felt like “home” in Greece. We told them we didn’t need a thing from them and we were just so happy to be back, but they still checked on us during the stay to see if we needed any towels or cleaning to be done and if we were doing okay. We were so grateful they let us enjoy the rest of our Greek vacation there. We hope we can return one day we loved Naxos.

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of September 2023. We left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, we had a relatively good room (with maintenance problems, although renovated: the windows did not close well, one of the air conditioners did not work) and the adequate front desk, on the other hand, the hotel has many important issues. I don't know if it is a family-run hotel or if it is managed by a company, but it is clear that there is a management problem. The staff either does not exist (swimming pool) or if there is, the host does not feel it. During the three days we stayed, no care/cleaning was done in the room. We had to go looking for the maids to get clean towels. But where the real big issues are at breakfast. It's not just the lack of variety, it's not just that the food was not renewed (and you were forced to take what was left... ), the main issue was the very low quality of the items offered. Sugary concentrated juices !! ( this is the first time I have come across something like this even in hotels of a lower (nominal) category!! The coffee machine offered an undefined coffee without any taste and whether you drunk it or not, it was the same. The plates all three mornings we had breakfast were empty and dirty, an omelette full of oil, the vegetables wilted and stale, there was no yogurt and the cereals (the few that were available) were of the lowest quality. But what was really infuriating was the staff at breakfast. Not only did they not offer any services, but they were demonstrably indifferent, they didn't even leave the bar, where they were looking at their mobile phones. I really wonder what the management of the property is doing? Does it exist? at no point during our stay did we feel that there was a direction in the service of the guests. The hotel is not 4*, but much lower. Although its location is good, all the rest lead me not to recommend it

We were a family of 4 adults and one baby. We, two of us, stayed in room 138 which is one of the older rooms for four nights 1/9. Toilet seat was broken, shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Pillows were awful and I am not even going to get started on the mattress ! Customer service skills for the staff was none existent, especially around the pool and at breakfast. Felt like I was doing them a favour by staying there and not the other way round. On the up side Daniel on the beach was lovely and nothing too much trouble together with the cleaning staff …. Get them to train the rest of your staff. Location ok you are towards the far end of Plaka beach bus stops outside so easy to get to Naxos Town. Would I recommend NO, there are far better places to stay in the area ! Not good value and did not feel welcome
