Great pub very well run. Lots of character. Really enjoyable ambiance. Very welcoming to visitors. Food well priced and well cooked. A short walk form the Mt Field Canpground. Plenty of parking and caravan parking at the rear for $25 for however long you wish to stay. Toilets but no showers. Collect your own grey water.

Luckily our hosts at the Russell Falls Cottages alerted us to the possibility of dining at the National Park Hotel, as there is no other dinner option close by. Apart from the welcome convenience of not having to prepare our own meals, our visits to the hotel for dinner over three evenings, allowed us to enjoy the generous hospitality of Amy, Tony and their staff at the hotel. The care-factor is very high indeed. And the meals are delicious, generous and well-priced. We tried several items on the menu and were never disappointed. If you're there on a Friday evening, there's even live music! Rooms are no longer available, however there is a camping option outside.

Tremendous pub - great pizzas and selection of beers and wine. Hosts are incredibly friendly and have created a top spot to wind down with a beer and pizza after a day out walking. There is a nice local vibe here in the main bar blended with a pleasant dining area with roaring fire.

Called in on the spur of the moment for lunch. Service was very quick and very pleasant. Quite a limited menu and we felt the choices were rather expensive; $14.95 for dessert! We both had the fish and chips with a small side salad. Chips were amongst the best I've ever tasted, fish was beautifully cooked and the side salad very tasty. A really good meal, but for $26 per serve, I felt that it was overpriced. I doubt I will return, despite the excellent service.

This is a rough and ready pub serving decent food from a limited menu. Prices were reasonable considering that there is not a lot of competition in the area. The lamb burger was good and the chips were top notch.

Publicans of this Hotel so much effort into doing at this classic Australian hotel. We had such fun on Australia Day! They served good food, a wide variety of drinks and it’s the cleanest country pub I have ever been in. The publicans who I don’t know by name bent over backwards to make us in enjoy our Australia Day. We just heard this great music rom our campsite and just followed the music to the Hotel. What a little Gem 10 mins from Maydena bike park the snitty was so good and the vibe on point. They were quite busy and kept us in loop about our meals and gave us some garlic bread while we waited! Plus the highlight was Pablo the dog such a star
