My husband and I stayed for two nights in a room in the home next to the main inn. Our room (the Roberts room) was on the second floor. It was very clean and had a very large, well-appointed bathroom. The only negative about our room whatsoever was that the bed pillows were so soft they were almost flat. We did not ask for other pillows, and they may have accommodated us if we had. The room had a ceiling fan, which we need to sleep comfortably, and lots of closet space. Parking was conveniently off-street, which we appreciated. As other reviewers have mentioned, breakfast is served a few houses down and across the street in Clara’s Cottage, which the innkeepers also own. The short walk was not a problem for us. It was not raining. We enjoyed sitting with and talking to the other guests. We found the breakfast to be disappointing—although Becky and Charlotte were trying very hard to make it as good as they could. I got the feeling they were either short-staffed or had new staff that wasn’t able to assist fully yet. The fruit appeared to be from those giant jars of mixed fruit you get at Costco or Sam’s. The blueberry bread was cut super thin and strangely toasted, and the egg dish was dry. Other reviewers have complimented the breakfast, so maybe we were there on an off morning. We did not go back the second morning and found a good breakfast restaurant nearby.
