In fact, upon arriving at Pontalmar, due to problems with the water heating we were transferred to the Rifóles Resort (hotel of the same chain) located in front of Pontalmar. Wonderful experience!

Spent 3 nights in mid December with the family. 2 rooms reservation. Average accommodation, decent breakfast, swimming pool under construction, very poor internet connection. To top it up, 2 Hurley board shorts of my oldest son simply disappeared from the room and the hotel could not provide any resolution at all: frontdesk claimed they needed to check with Security, which in turn handed over the problem to Housekeeping.. Management was non-existent until the very last minute, when they assured us that the hotel would get back to us in a couple of hours. No response that day. No response to my subsequent emails. I'd definitively avoid the property and its sister place, Rifoles Praia Hotel & Resort.

Cozy place with a beautiful view of the main Christmas postcard (Praia de Ponta Negra). The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable, as is the environment in general. Breakfast is very diverse. Staff are very attentive and dedicated.

I highlight the delicious and very varied breakfast, the spacious and clean rooms, the very friendly receptionists, good location 1 block from the beach and close to bars and restaurants. The only bad thing was that from my room I could hear the noise of the plates and cutlery preparing breakfast very early on, I think they should be more careful with that, however I recommend it and would return!

The service at the hotel was incredible. The staff are very polite, super attentive, the hotel is wonderful, always very clean, the breakfast is incredible and the staff are wonderful! The hotel's paparazzi photo service is perfect. Made with great quality, with great attention, the photos are perfect. It's worth stopping by the store and booking a photo session! We get freebies! We once again chose this wonderful hometown city to celebrate another wedding anniversary. The people are very receptive and fun, but the best of all is the tranquility of the hotel, great for resting. and we still recorded these moments with the Paparazzi who did a great job, the photos were perfect.
