The hot spring was good. The water was greenish and cloudy, and quite hot. The open-air bath was free-flowing. We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room. It was cleaner than I expected, and it was nice. The air was dry at night, and I woke up with a hoarse throat. It might have been better if they had a humidifier. The food was a Japanese set menu. The quantity was sufficient, and although there were some tasty dishes, the overall quality was not so good. If you have a car, you might feel more satisfied if you stay overnight and eat outside. I think it's a good hotel if you use it creatively.

The facilities are old and there are some stains from years of use, but they are kept clean. If you don't mind old things, I think it's totally fine. You can make a reservation even during the season, and it's cheap. The buffet meals are limited in variety, but the taste is just as good. The ingredients are not expensive, but they are just as good. The carrot tempura was crispy and good. I had a second helping. The orange juice and oolong tea in the drink server were out of concentrate, so they only had water. The Calpis came out fine. There was also an automatic beer pouring machine, which was just as good. If you don't require new cleanliness, you'll be satisfied. The hot springs are kept clean, and although they look dirty because the water is brown, they are said to be free-flowing from the source, so it feels luxurious.

I suddenly wanted to take a hot spring bath, so I searched for a reasonable place and stayed here. It seems to have been a resort hotel in the past, but I felt that it was still doing a good job. I made a reservation early in the morning on the day, but I was able to stay without any problems. It was a reasonable stay with two meals included, and we could use the Tochigi prefecture residents discount, and we had all-you-can-drink at dinner, and we had a sufficient amount and quality of food, such as salt-grilled sweetfish, sashimi, and chawanmushi rice kettle, so it was a very reasonable stay. The only disappointing thing was that the open-air bath was stupid, and there was no one at the front desk, which was inconvenient.
