Pugdundee Safaris - Kanha Earth Lodge

While there is no guarantee you will see tigers in Khana National Park (we did with the excellent guide from the resort) you guaranteed an excellent stay. The staff is first rate, service is spot on, and the food makes the stay even more enjoyable. The resort is very eco-friendly and is about a 20 minute drive from the park entrance which makes for quiet surroundings.

We stayed at Kanha Earth Lodge for a few nights. The guiding by Ashu and Suraj was excellent and the hospitality was amazing. Harpreet the manager runs a very efficient operation and he is one of the nicest and most accommodating people I’ve met. We had some older members in our party and he went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. Would visit again in a heart beat. Already making plans to do so :) Highly recommend.

Kanha Earth Lodge running by Pugdundee Safaris is a wonderful property Nestled in a stunning area of kanha forest, this property is perfectly located near the khatiya gate : making it a prime spot for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.Kanha earth lodge having beautiful cottages designed in mud theme with impeccably clean and well maintained. I was surprised with absolute hygiene, I mean whenever you go out for safari/restaurant/ pool side and when you come back to cottage you will get well settled room as you checked in first time with changing new bed sheets/towel/water jug/tea-coffee/mats and it’s all because of proper management or discreet and hardworking housekeeping staff who ensure every detail perfect without ever being intrusive. Thank you Mr. Rohit for making my stay unforgettable his attention to detail was truly remarkable, reflecting the property’s dedication to excellence. Mr. Harpreet (GM) and the naturalist, was not only wildlife enthusiastic and knowledgeable person but also a deeply passionate for kanha wildlife, he always join his guests every time in the lodge and comes in many safaris for proper guiding about safari/wildlife/route map everything to his guests. The head chef Mr. Ark Bagchi was superb in every meal, as a vegetarian, I tried many traditional dishes and live cooking and can’t forget homemade ice creams and shrikhand was super yum. at the end I would say just one thing about this property that apart from kanha national park this is also a great experience to stay at “Kanha Earth Lodge” you can’t skip.

Harpreet the manager runs a very efficient operation and he is one of the nicest. The chef he was by far the best we ever had during our trips. Amazing service from start to finish. We came to a plan, for which literally everything was arranged. Pickup from the airport, taxi between lodges, safari's etc. Everything was well organised and didn't need to stress our during our trip. We stayed in Kanha Earth lodge for couple of days. Staff from Kanha really deserve 5/5 stars. The service and the entire staff has to be commended.

Excellence at every level...This IS your marvellous luxury home in the vast wilderness of Kanha ! Every detail has been taken care of so beautifully..Its style,stone,wood work,and theme blending in so seamlessly with the surrounding jungle . Impeccable service and the most delicious' homely' cuisine ,only leaves you wanting more ! A truly talented Chef and gracious Manager Mr Singh ***** with his dedicated in house service team took care of us with much warmth and care. Highly recommended !

Our stay at Kanha was wonderful. The organisation of our transport and accommodation was seamless and every effort was made to provide us with the best experience. We are avid travellers and have been exploring the world for over 30 years. Our time at the Pungadee game parks was definitely memorable. Specific highlights at Kanha - the food, the chef treated us to a masterful array of dishes and shared his love of cooking both experimental and traditional with us. Our driver was not only able to accomplish the task of driving us safely, being punctual, caring for our comfort, hot water bottles and blankets on the cold pre dawn mornings, he also shared with us cultural ideals and gave us an insight into a different way of thinking and an appreciation of thought processes different to our own. All the staff we encountered made it very clear we were their priority. Our cottage was adorable and the herb/vegetable garden and butterfly gardens were beautifully tended. Highly recommend!
