A beautiful site, and an excellent stay. Wonderful room (117), good service. Take the village tour (special thanks to Lala) to see the life of the locals. The trip to the elephant on top of the hill at sunrise (if you dare) is worth the early wake up. And absolutely don’t miss the step well dinner, an unforgettable experience of a dinner in the forest with 500 candles! Only concern, if you are in a tour with a guide, there is no affordable room for him, so he has to find another hotel far away.

we stayed at the hotel for one night and were immediately impressed by the enchanting architecture of the house, the garden and the pool area. the staff was welcoming and very friendly! a spontaneous safari in the evening made the stay even more special, we were able to observe leopards, birds and a crocodile ! absolutely recommendable, better 2 nights!

Very well maintained rooms, this property is like a hidden gem in Narlai. Whatever we ordered, was well prepared to our liking and the service is impeccable. Each and every staff member ensured we are well taken care of. We enjoyed the climb to the elephant mountain, jeep safari but something that can't be missed is the Stepwell dinner. That was the best dinner experience I've had so far. It was luxury in the midst of serenity. I would highly recommend this property for a Royal experience.

Of the many Heritage style Hotels we have stayed at in India the Rawla Narlai is one of the best. From the moment you enter the very clean village everything feels cared for. Their charitable trust impacts the village life in a positive way, from the free Ambulance to the education, rubbish collection and employment. This is so much more then a hotel, it is a progressive team that truly care for you, yet allows for a step back in time where you feel held by the history of this palace. Rajasthan hospitality is legendary. The team at Rawla Narlai exemplify this. I would also highly recommend the leopard safari. It's a grand adventure with wonderful guides. Although off the beaten tourist path, this palace hotel will be a highlight to your itinerary. I highly recommend.

Luxury heritage experience with unique high level of service. Thoughtful complimentary extras included to mark our honeymoon. Loved the leopard safari experience and rooftop dinners. Good sized room and beautifully cleaned. Polite staff on hand from dusk til dawn. Enjoyed having local wildlife such as monkeys around us. Overall loved it and would want to come back for longer.

The hotel is well appointed and in a great location. The roof top terrace restaurant was a great place to star gaze from. The staff were most helpful . A special mention of Prerna Sing who was very helpful settling is into our room and explaining to us some of the local area.

A really lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food and choice excellent. Step well dinner by ox cart was the highlight of our whole stay in India. Magical. Only a little fly in the ointment which stops me giving it a 5 *. Bathroom was very tired. Clean but looking stained and out dated. A shame.

We only stayed one night but wish it was longer… the hospitality was wonderful and there was a surprising amount of things to do. We loved our sunrise walk with Lala, our Rabari guide, to the top of elephant rock - his enthusiasm for the beauty and knowledge of the area was such a treat. The stepwell dinner is not to be missed - yes, its touristy but such a magical setting and the food was great. They handed any dietaries easily. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed an afternoon visit from monkeys! And the rooms were huge and delightfully modern. The wifi was a little slow and brief power cuts happened throughout our stay, but it didn’t detract from our wonderful experience
