Narita Tobu Hotel Airport

Although you can walk quite easily to this hotel in about 20 minutes, the road layout is confusing, so I’d recommend using the free shuttle bus. This is a good hotel that is also used by airline cabin crew so it has to maintain certain standards. The breakfast is good value for money, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. Nearby there are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

Staff were very helpful with absolutely any and every question I had (and I had many). The buffet dinner was great and I got a packed breakfast the next morning since I left too early for the breakfast buffet (my own booking mistake) The location and shuttle bus from and to Narita airport are fantastic if you want a hassle free in and out with a comfortable stay after a long travel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the price—2200 yen for guests, with walk-ins costing 2700 yen. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. Additionally, its convenient location next to Nippon Car Rental made it easy for us to explore the area. Highly recommended! 🌟

The hotel have spacious lobby and many facilities like family mart and laundry room. It really helped when my family and I were there. It also provides free shuttle bus to and fro for Narita airports and Aeon Mall.

This is our go to hotel for late night arrivals and stocking up before heading to the snow. Stayed here for more than 10 years and it’s very dated but a clean, spacious and central hotel. JR an keisei a couple of mins walk. Aeon mall 1km walk. Kids playground down the road as well as a beautiful temple and gardens. Narita area has every thing you need so a basic affordable hotel with good accom, heating and very good location is enough.  Beds are old but comfy enough for the price we paid. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant but everything looks ok. So many restaurants and bars close by to explore. There are vending machines on every floor, and some floors have ice machines and a microwave. We booked a twin which was 22m2 ( I think). Enough room for my partner in one bed and my 6 year old and I to share one of the twin beds. Rooms are quite spacious but you need to book the right room or you could be in a tiny single space

The bedroom is like a little coffin and so is the bathroom. Very dated but it’s an airport hotel so not expecting much. The bed and pillows were comfy and the aircon worked well but I would bring ear plugs. The sound from other rooms is not bad but if you’re a light sleeper, you may hear it. Cleanliness wasn great - there was rubbish bits (old plastic from bottle caps) on the floor and hair in different spots in the bathroom. The restaurant at level 17 had a surprisingly nice beef hotpot (though pricey at 6500Yen), but the sake was nice. Staff at the restaurant were 10/10. The shuttle bus to the airport runs once or twice an hour but if you miss it (like me), an Uber can cost 2000Yen between the airport and hotel. It did feel like there was an earthquake at 3am as the bed started rocking - initially I thought it was a train but I’m pretty sure it was a mini quake. Overall, it’s nice enough for a 12 hour layover. I chose not to take the shuttle to the mall as was a little tired but there is that option if you prefer it.
