"My best appraise is for the services in both of reception and restaurant, especially the staffs from Nepal and Max from Indonesia. Many thanks for the sincere service and patience to my naughty boy, he missed you a lot and he promised to come again next year to see you then. For me, the soundproofing effectiveness is really not friendly, I woke up by the car noises outside many time in the nite😭"
"The scenery is beautiful, and the bed is more comfortable than expected. We booked a loft and two double rooms. The loft has a courtyard and a terrace bathtub, and the hot spring ends at 0 o'clock. There are a lot of tableware for dinner and breakfast, but they are too exquisite and I didn't eat enough. It's just average. The bathroom shower is also clean. The hotel provides kimonos for free. It's fun to wear kimonos and drink and chat in the room. There are Chinese waiters. If you bring your own wine, you will be charged a corkage fee of 2,000 yen/bottle. In the morning, after going down the mountain, you will see the deer park."
"The hotel where the emperor stayed, the royal comfort, every day to visit Nara Park Todaiji, very convenient, beautiful surrounding scenery. I stayed here a few years ago, this time I stayed here again, although the price is a bit more expensive, but the accommodation experience is very good. The hotel specifications are very high. There are shuttle buses to Nara JR and Kintetsu. The driver uncle is very dedicated. I have two 30-inch and 28-inch heavy suitcases, he enthusiastically helped us get the whole thing on and off the car, without the help of other young employees, I admire it. There is a Chinese and English Buddhist classics in the room, and the TV has a Chinese channel to watch anti-Japanese war movies."

"Very good reviews, very close to JR Nara Station, convenient to check in. The room is also very large. You can wash, dry, take a bath, and heat meals in the room. It is a good place to rest."
"Clean, excellent service with the possibility of using the kitchen and the coffee/tea set for free.
There is also the option of breakfast/lunch/dinner with the bentō but I have not tried it. The bathrooms are very clean, no need to bring shampoo, conditioner, shower gel is already available in the structure for free.
At the front desk always kind, for anything they were available to help. In addition, the location is perfect both aesthetically and for the position very close to the main attractions"

Amazing
GGoh Li ShanNara Visitor Centre and Inn is charming place located right next to Sarasuwa pond. It is about 7 mins walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Very near to Kofukuji temple. I stayed from 15-17 June 2023.
I felt warmly received by the staff on duty at the inn. Quite a lot of them are Mandarin and English speaking. I really appreciate one of the elderly gentleman’s staff warmth when he took the time to explain to me the attractions around the inn that I can visit, and he speaks Mandarin very well! I also appreciate the other staff’s eagerness to assist when I asked them questions about tours or to recommend places for breakfast.
A shoutout also to Yukina, who entertained me when I wanted to do the cosplay and Japanese calligraphy. I also really enjoyed the Japanese dance activity provided during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here :)
I booked a Japanese style room, 8 tatami mats. Spacious for 1. Toiletries provided are sufficient. view from the room showed Kofukuji temple but was blocked by a tree. The only issue I had was that I was given the room at the end of the corridor. I personally preferred not to have a room at end of corridor for personal reasons, but the room was bright, airy and comfortable, and I was happy with it so did not request for a change.
KKinglumLoved the hotel!! It’s in the center of nara city
It’s 5 mins walk to the nara shopping area, 5mins walk to the nara park there is deer walking around the hotel in the morning
There is free morning city walk tour at 7:00-8:00 with local guide; the bicycle is free
The view of the pond is nice the service is great!! 5stars to everything
The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable
They have drink lounge for free use with unlimited snacks; fruit juice, sake, beer, wine from
15:00pm-2:00am
Really recommend everyone that travels to nara city to stay at this hotel!!
The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast only provides japanese style food ; grill fish and onigiri
The onigiri is huge, grill fish and miso soup is cold
I wish they can make the onigiri smaller so
We can taste more flavors
And hope that they can provide a bakery corner for people who doesn’t like to eat fish
Otherwise we loved the hotel and want to go
Back again!!
Ps: there is not parking space so we need to park at the coin parking costs us 2400¥ /night
GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is new and looks very nice. For family traveling, it is not very convenient, especially if you have strollers as there are places without ramps, only stairs.
There is not much amenities you can use in the property without paying extra. With such a high room price, you would expect more.
The location is very close to the Nara park and you can see deers inside the property.
The included breakfast can be better, I don’t think the portion is enough, but they do provide rice if you need more.
GGuest UserMatsuyama san is great, with patience and kindness, he explained everything in detail, we had a good start in this wonderful hotel.
The food was offered in traditional Japanese style, 怀石料理,The service was impeccable. There are three hot springs in the hotel and next door, we enjoyed all of them. A great stay. Highly recommended.
LLung TsangIt was a steal luxury at this hotel during our stay! Looks lush with elegance, the room was bigger than ordinary Japan hotel room and the receptionists spoke perfect English which is not usual in Japan. We got a great offer to shop the nara deer toy at a local shop thanks to the hotel stay. The hotel restaurant offers nice breakfast choice at a reasonable price and we saw it was packed during dinner time too. It is close to both Kintetsu Nara Station and Nara Park. And only 10min walk to Jr Nara Station. Don't forget to enjoy the complementary options of various tea and plum drinks next to the reception
VVBBBKKExcellent room, neat and clean. They got everything you need in the self serve counter, facial cleanser, toner, you name it they have it. Big bath tub and super comfy bed. Extraordinarily buffet breakfast and good position, right next to Nara station. One more thing to mention is their services, better than any other place.
MMichael IanThis place was so cute and excellent. Staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate easily enough. Room was Japanese Ryokan style. Tatami mats, low table. It had everything needed, shower and toilet in the room too. There is also an onsen that you can reserve for your private use. I asked for a time later at night and they still had one spot available. If you can't get a time then it is ”public use” after 22:00, which seems to mean that you might need to share if others want to join. Location was very good, right in the middle of the historic part of town and a short walk (<5 min) to Nara park to see the deer. Hotel was very nice and clean. I was here in late December and the air conditioning heater in the room was very good too.
Wwee teeBooked this hotel through Trip which was a godsend. The hotel that I booked through ******* was screwed up big time by ******* because the hotel didn't receive the reservation apparently. ******* was not helpful with the relocation (even thought there were availability at other hotels), claiming the hotel class are different from the one I booked. Anyways this hotel is convenient and clean, only thing that I disliked was the site mentioned double bed BUT only can accommodate 1 person!? Ended we have to pay additional ¥3k for the 3rd person (my youngest daughter) for 2 rooms. 1 room for myself and the other for both daughters because the manager was adamant about the 1 room per person, however after paying the additional ¥3k he was ok with 2 persons in a room. Didn't make sense unless I was explained it is some government regulations to allow only 1 double bed room for 1 person
WWensenWe really appreciated the stay at the old traditionnal timber house, everything is kept in its style. The lifestyle also is part of the house : everyone is playing the game, being very silent and respectful, sharing a very nice traditionnal kitchen. The house may miss one more shower but it still works. I totally recommand the experience !!
GGuest UserFirst of all, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is amiable! Tell the precautions, the hotel is clean and hygienic, and the quilt is covered by yourself. The bathroom in the bath is particularly clean. Every guest is very conscious. Try to control yourself and not disturb others. It is really great!
