In room wifi system is bad. Wifi to my room was broken. (Room 3316). Staff have little english and cannot get IT support in the evening when i need wifi help.

Strongly recommending. Historic hotel with pleasing facility. Perfect position which is 3 minutes away from the nara park on foot. You can even see the wondering deers in the backyard.

It has a good location, a long history, and retro architecture. Many celebrities once lived there. The restaurant inside is also a famous restaurant, and you need to book in advance to enjoy it. Excellent service from the service staff. A female lobby staff member named "Li" in Japanese provided very good service. Even though we didn't understand the language, she took the trouble to communicate with me. She also helped us call a car and sent us to the car. The Japanese service is absolutely top notch. It's really delicious and filling, and it will help you arrange a time for a small group of people, so that you can sit by the window and eat at the five-story pagoda. The environment is very quiet, but the drawback is that you have to hike. Because it was late at night, we stupidly delayed the night and dragged the deer up the mountain. It was so noisy that the deer looked at me with three eyes😅.

This is my second time staying here. I always stay in the old building. I like this kind of hotel with a sense of age. It has a lot of flavor. Although the service feels a bit deliberate, at least they try to be professional. This has become the main reason for coming to Nara again.

The room is a bit old, but it has a garden view. The service staff is very patient and courteous. The deer feeding is right under the balcony. It is very convenient to go to Mount Wakakusa, right on the edge of the park. There is a bus at the door

This is my third time at Nara Hotel. It was my first time staying at the new building. I thought the new building would be casual, but the rooms are spacious and warm. It was more comfortable than the main building. Next time, I will stay in the new building.

The service is perfect, warm and meticulous, and the interior completely retains the old objects and style of the Showa era. When encountering service staff passing by in the corridor, they will stop what they are doing to salute, making them feel at home. The front desk can help book bus tickets to Kansai Airport, perfect!
