cheap and cheerful, only complaint is the bed was quite small. I am 187cm and had to bend my legs even with my head right at the top of the bed.

If there are other options, I don't recommend this B&B! Here are a few points for reference:
1. Unprofessional, my bed didn't even have sheets! Communication couldn't solve it
2. Check-in was at 4pm, and before that, he didn't open the door, don't even think about putting your luggage! Go out and carry it yourself!
3. This is in the village, there are no convenience stores or meals nearby.
4. Check-out time, you are asked to check out immediately at 9pm! Don't waste a second
5. Towels need to be rented! This old man is like a robot without emotions.
6. Advantages: clean, quiet, cheap.

It's a small guesthouse. The common space and the dormitory beds are small, and the hygiene is not good. It's also far from the center of Nara. However, the staff are kind, the price is reasonable, and overall I think it's a good place to stay.
