Conveniently located near Kintetsu-Nara station.
The place looks a tad old with some wear-and-tear, and the wooden tiles in my room made a creaking sound whenever being stepped on.
Soundproofing was pretty bad – I could hear people walking along the corridor, and voices and sounds coming from neighbours above and below.
Staff did not provide clear instructions on how to self-checkout, i.e. where to place the key as there was no indication around the front desk which was unmanned in the early hours of the morning.

We stayed two nights and slept well on the futons. The hotel was conveniently located near Kintetsu Nara Station and inside the shopping arcade. The front receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. We also enjoyed the hot spring bath. Bathrobes (yukata) and towels were provided.

really lovely ryokan! hidden gem 🥰 would stay here if i came back to nara.
+ near alot of convenience stores (daiso/ lawson)
+ located near to kinsetsu nara station and right in a shopping district.
+ close to tourist areas
+ counter staff spoke english
+ kind and attentive service, friendly staff allowed us to check in early

The large bathhouse is similar to a smaller version of the Northeastern large bathhouse. It is located in the commercial street, and the corridor exudes the smell of barbecue. Overall, it's a bit expensive. It's very close to Nara Park and close to Kintetsu.

The location is right on the shopping street and at the Kintetsu exit, and it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the park. The staff are warm and courteous. The hot springs are thin but quiet, so they are enough. The hotel is old but clean, with few daily necessities except old towels, including a hair dryer in the hot spring area, and not even a paper towel lock. Of course, you can’t ask for too much for this price, remember this is a hotel. I'm impressed by the great location and the courteous staff. I can't say whether I like it or not.

Very convenient to shopping, dining, and Nara Park sightseeing. Short on charm, especially for the price. Fluorescent lighting in bare-bones room felt decidedly "budget." No-frills shared bath facilities. Room had relatively fresh tatami mats and clean, well-supplied private bathroom. Good Japanese breakfast.
