The location of this hotel is pretty well, the Kintetsu Nara station is just across the street and the main station of the Nara buses is just in front of the door.
I would not suggest foreign people to go to the East shopping street nearby for food since there are many restaurant closed and hard to get good meals.
As the biggest chain hotel, this Tokoyo inn also has the convenient check in and out protocols and has staff can speak fluent English.
The only obvious problem is the noise can always come in through the closed window. I lived in 4th floor but could still hear clearly when people down in the back street talking during the late night,

I changed this hotel temporarily during the short holiday. The price is reasonable and includes free breakfast. Although I didn't experience breakfast, the overall cost performance is outstanding. The front desk is small, the design is simple, and the service is professional. The guest room facilities are slightly old, but they are well considered and equipped with humidifiers to meet different needs; there are large tables and dressing tables for convenient office and dressing. The air conditioning temperature control is flexible. Although the room is not large, it is more than enough for daily use.
The hotel has a superior geographical location, rich restaurants downstairs, and opposite the commercial street and Kintetsu Nara subway station. The transportation is convenient, whether it is traveling or shopping. In the case of tight housing supply during holidays, this hotel has become a good choice for travel with its affordable prices, practical facilities and convenient location.

I stayed here for one night. The room was relatively large for a budget hotel. Unfortunately, there were no non-smoking rooms when I checked in. The smoking rooms on the floors still smelled of cigarettes. I quickly changed hotels after staying for one night.
