Nara Park Hotel

The entrance to the highway is close and the walls of the rooms are thin, so the noise is quite loud. The staff are polite or rude, depending on the person. It was nice to be able to use the hot spring for free, but it was difficult to have a toilet, bathroom, or washbasin in the room.

The page says there is a sea view room, but it actually has a mountain view. Although there is pick-up and drop-off at the station, the pick-up and drop-off time is stipulated. It is not very clear without marking it. It's too far from the station and far from the scenic spots.

The hotel in general is a reasonably priced hot spring inn, with good customer service and spacious rooms, but a little old. There were many small children, and it was fully booked, even though it was not a weekend. We had the 1,300-year-old gourmet cuisine "Tenpyo no Utage," which claims to be the only one of its kind in Japan. The cuisine was created with the support of archaeologists and culinary experts over five years, based on wooden tablets, pottery, and documents excavated from Heijo Palace. Including the 20 years since then, it has a tradition of 35 years. Each dish was explained to us. It was very delicious, and almost all the dishes were Michelin one-star level. However, some dishes left a disappointing impression. The daigo, a cheese-like dish made by boiling down milk, was overcooked and was dry and hard. It was much browner than the sample. The wild boar meat was too hard and had lost too much moisture. The dried figs had lost too much moisture. The other dishes, as you would expect from imperial court cuisine, were just the right firmness and very delicious. I was put off by the fact that the only drink available was white sake (shiroki: cloudy sake), even though it was apparently all-you-can-drink. The tea (not sure what kind of tea it was) that came towards the end was not tasty either, but it was easier to drink than white sake, so I wish it had been brought out sooner. Imperial court cuisine, whether Okinawan, Korean, Chinese, or French, is indescribably delicious. I would definitely recommend trying ancient Japanese imperial court cuisine. You can enjoy the ancient imperial court cuisine alone, even without staying overnight. The Tenpyo Banquet is the pinnacle of this hotel!!!

I was satisfied overall because I was able to stay cheaply. It's about 3.5 stars. The room is old. The breakfast venue was a buffet, but it was so small that the customers were likely to fight each other because they didn't know what order they were lined up in. There was ancient cheese and I ate it for the first time. The lighting in the hot spring was dim and I was a little scared to go in alone.

It was late November, and I had never seen Nara leisurely before. Exactly! I knew this hotel because I often saw it on accommodation sites. A 5-course dinner plan, plus a free upgrade to a 2-room spacious room! I was really looking forward to it, but I'm disappointed. What the heck, the important pufferfish is terrible! I didn't expect the price to be the only price, but it was so tired that I didn't know if it was a pufferfish or what. Tessa is something I've never seen before, and it's not chewy. The best thing I could eat was the fried chicken. Ultimately, when you make rice porridge at the end of Tecchiri, there is no explanation such as making it by yourself at the beginning, so I guess you do the rice porridge set on the edge of the table yourself? I started making it while thinking that it was finished, and when I poured it into a bowl, there was a brown liquid in a small bowl about the size of a cup. ! I made it already! Don't give me any explanation, you don't understand! ? I yelled. Really unkind! I returned the rice porridge to the pot, added the dashi stock, stirred it, and ate it again! I feel sorry for making my husband look forward to the puffer fish tonight with the hotel and plan I chose. It seems that there were a couple of customers who chose puffer fish, but it was so bad that I never regretted that I should have made a normal banquet plan. I'm sure the standard plan was delicious as usual, so I got this kind of evaluation, but with this impression, I won't be doing it again, so even if I raise the price a little more, I got a decent pufferfish I think it's better. The open-air bath is also very narrow unlike the pamphlets and photos on the internet. Some people say it's hot, but when I was there, it was so lukewarm that I felt cold in the bath. upgrade? To be honest, it might have been better to have a normal room... The walls are old and full of scratches. Breakfast seems to have become a buffet, and the restaurant is small, so other customers should not eat in such a place! I was complaining. I want to eat hot tea porridge that is lukewarm (cold) to room temperature. However, at night, the staff told us stories about the deer of Nara in the lobby lounge. I decided to think that my dinner choice was a failure, but I knew that the hotel was making efforts in various projects, so I was disappointed this time.
