A big big cockroach was dead next to me when I wake up in morning I couldn’t have my breakfast after I saw it

Not at the best location, however probably the greatest experience with the hotel. Though I stayed for one night only, but I enjoyed every moment in the hotel from the lobby, room and even the hot bath. From the attached photos, you can probably feel how beautiful this hotel is.

I stayed in room 401. The bathtub was perfect. There was also a separate meditation hut. I just couldn't get used to the dinner. The sashimi and half-cooked beef were not suitable for Chinese people.

It is relatively close to the park and one kilometer from the nearest JR station. The price is a bit expensive. I had three breakfasts. The breakfast on the last day was relatively high. The other two days were average. The futon mattress was very hard and my back hurt after sleeping. In short, the price/performance ratio was low. , I won’t choose it again next time.

The place is comfortable, the room is very clean, and the surrounding environment is beautiful Worth a thumbs up!

The hotel photos booked on Ctrip did not match the actual room I stayed in... After asking the hotel, I was told that they did not have traditional rooms, only general rooms and every other room with a name... but there was no mark on the Ctrip website... and the pictures did not match the actual rooms. ...After checking into the hotel, I was told that the room I booked was too small and I needed to upgrade the room, and my child would also need to pay the price difference...The price difference was about RMB 500+...After negotiating with Ctrip, they subsidized 200+ as compensation...In addition, the hotel's hot spring is not a quasi-hot spring...and at 8pm at night It was already booked by 10:30... We arrived at the hotel around 7 o'clock... which means we can't enjoy the hotel hot springs during normal hours... People in Nara basically don't have restaurants open around 7 o'clock... The same goes for hotels... We were told that we could not dine without a reservation... We searched outside for an hour before we found a skewers restaurant... We got back to the hotel around 10 o'clock... My husband and his son went for a dip and said that the pool was very small... The sound of the air conditioner was very fragrant when I slept at night... Like a tractor... the overall experience is very bad...

The Japanese-style tatami room is quite decent, with just enough space for three people. It has all kinds of supplies, but the room does not provide free drinking water. The tea you drink from the tap water has a smell. Dinner and breakfast are provided, and they are all placed on the table when people arrive. The sashimi is already a little dry, and other dishes are relatively ordinary. It is less interesting than the meals at other hot spring hotels I have stayed in before. The ladies' hot spring is a small pool, a bathtub and sauna that resemble Buddha's feet. There are no highlights. The waiters are not particularly enthusiastic. They stare at the guests and say they can't touch this or that. There is a free drink machine at the entrance of the hot spring. When I wanted to drink in the morning, I found that It was closed after work. The only bright spot was a waitress who came to help. She was gentle and beautiful. The hotel terrace has a good view and the price/performance ratio is average.

The room is too small. The other public areas are good. The breakfast is good. The big bathroom is okay, right?

This traditional hot spring hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, very close to Todaiji Temple and Nara Park. The decoration of the hotel lobby is quite beautiful, and the hot spring is relatively thin. We booked one stay and two meals. The dinner on the first night was relatively ordinary, the beef hot pot on the second night was better, and the breakfast was OK.

Fantastic family experience, we were 4 and stayed two days in April. Really top location, unique atmosphere, Futon beds, original Japanese style breakfasdt. We really enjoyed, a bit pricey for the size of the room. Nice terrace. Top attractions at walking distance.

We had a great stay at Hotel New Wakasa. From the time of check in the staff could not have been more helpful. Even by the high standards of Japanese hotels they were courteous and keen to help with sightseeing and eating recommendations. (For the record the recommendations were spot on too!). We got a room with a private onsen. What a magnificent experience. So peaceful with a lovely ambience and (modest!) view. Away from the room, the rooftop area was also a peaceful oasis and very pleasant spot to sit after a king, hot day of walking. The hotel is quite near many dining choices. If you’re unsure what to have - ask the helpful reception team who were very happy to provide directions to some great spots. Another highlight was the Japanese breakfast. It was so tasty. So many different little morsels. The setting was beautiful and serene. And the food was so beautifully presented. In many respects this may have been the best breakfast I’ve ever enjoyed. Cost wise, this hotel was quite good value particularly factoring in the onsen. There was a nice (surprise) bonus on departure and little gifts in the room. Nice things to make the visit even more special. If we ever visit Nara again there is no doubt we would stay at the Hotel New Wakasa.

Good Ryokan Hotel, 15 to 20 minute walk to Todaiji Temple. No restaurant or shopping within walking distance to the hotel. Service B, Ryokan hotel lobby check-in with tea and snack nothing special. Guest room B, average size room for Japanese Ryokan with a very tiny onsen bath in the room. Public facility B. Rooftop lounge area have very nice view, fourth floor Onsen very small but it’s OK. Food C, Very average Kaiseki dinner and breakfast.

Structure very close to the station - and really close to Todai-ji and its deer. The Japanese-style structure is filled with deer-shaped objects. The decor immediately gives a double impact: tranquility and the lack of luxury which is not a lack of comfort. The onsen (to be booked if you don't have it in your room) is truly refreshing. and very pleasant, the kaiseki style dinner, that is, many mini-courses, is not only good but presented with notable grace. The rooms are arranged according to the customer's choice. Rooms not large by European standards, however at least we immediately get used to proportions and styles different from ours. Very small bathroom with excellent Pola products, an excellent brand in this country, jukata, tabi (soft Japanese flip-flop socks) are offered by the hotel. Perfectly silent Japanese breakfast with express dishes from the chef who works, as frequently in Japan, in front of you

This is an old inn near Nara Park, and was often used for school trips, but in recent years it has been renovated and reborn as a modern inn. There is a parking lot next to the entrance, but if you park before check-in time, you will be charged an additional fee, so be careful. The building itself has been newly rebuilt, but when I entered the room, it was a small room, only wide enough to fit a futon laid out horizontally. There were few furnishings, and it was a ryokan-level inn that did not give me the feeling of being on a trip. The only cups were plastic ones for brushing teeth, and if I tried to drink beer, I could only drink from a can. The futon was laid out late, around 8pm. It was my first experience of not being able to relax after dinner. I don't know about dinner, because I ate out. The breakfast was not a buffet, but was decent. The bath was an artificial hot spring, with two types, hot and lukewarm. There was no sauna. There was no view. There were almost no amenities. It was unclear what the inn's concept was. I thought the value for money was poor. Rather than a place to stay for a sightseeing trip, this would be a good place to stay for a school trip, training, or business trip, and who like a Japanese style accommodation.
