This is a royal guesthouse in Momoyama style, which was built in 1909 by Kingo Tatsuno, the father of Japanese architecture. If you want to find accommodation in Nara, I would strongly recommend considering this hotel. 1) Service: extremely high-quality service, even in Japan, it shows a higher level of standards, giving customers a noble charm, which requires you to experience it in person. 2) Scenic spot: Based on the 115-year history, many places in the hotel are scenic spots, antique, especially the Cherry Blossom Room (guest lobby), many artifacts, including the piano played by Einstein and the photos taken, will surprise you. 3) Food: very delicious breakfast, exquisite, delicious, and full of elegant ritual. In addition, I happened to meet a couple's wedding banquet during my stay, and the picture made me feel like traveling through time and space. I really like this hotel, and I especially hope to stay there for a few nights in the future!

The hotel building is right outside the JR station. The room is not too big, but it is enough to accommodate two large suitcases. The child was charged an additional fee of 4,500. Breakfast was 1,500 and the child fee was 3,000.

A good choice to stay for one night, right on the subway station, within walking distance to the scenic spots, walking 20,000 steps to feed the deer, the baby was very happy... There is a supermarket downstairs of the hotel, and the sashimi is discounted at night 20% off, you’ll be so happy with your late night snack that you’ll forget all about nuclear radiation, hahahahaha

Fantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us. Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.

I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

The location is quite far from JR Nara Station and Todaiji, the core of Nara travel, but Kintetsu Railway Shin-Omiya Station is a 10-minute walk away and Heijogu Historical Park is close. Bicycles are also available for rent, but there is a fee and there are no electric bicycles. Hot springs available in the spa’s main bath. The breakfast was good, the lobby was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. However, please pay more attention to room cleaning.

It is a building that feels the age at first glance, but when I stepped in, the nostalgic space that was carefully maintained spread. The room I stayed in ”Awafuji” was a really nice room. In a tatami room with a wide 々, the ceiling is high and you can feel ”I came to stay at my grandparents' house”. I thought it was lit up without worrying when I saw the garden at night. Mr Okubo Ren and Ms Miyamae also delivered great service during my lunch dining on the second day. Overall, the dining experience at Azekura was the highlight of my stay and till now, I couldn’t help but marvel due to the great service that was initiated by Mr Wang Yu Wen. Additionally, I would like to commend the impeccable service I received during the check-in process. I I was impressed at Mr Kim’s patience and service throughout the check-in experience, and I was really glad to get a warm welcoming experience from both Mr Arjun and Ms Pitcha at the lobby. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate specific requests made a significant difference, setting the tone for an enjoyable and happy stay. It is evident that the team takes pride in delivering top-notch service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Furthermore, the hospitality at the lounge was exemplary. Despite the huge crowd during the festive season, the lounge staff did create a comfortable and enjoyable one. The hotel is near to Nara Station JR. just 10 minutes walking. Also is very close to the Nara Park and so many places for food around. The room is big, lots of space. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom is good. The service is really amazing. I arrived before the check in and they sent my luggage to the room directly. Very recommended.
