The single room in this hotel was excellent, larger than I expected with a great waterfall shower. The wifi was fast and good as well. The breakfast was really good too, better that I'd expected - plenty of food, buffet style. The hotel is a bit of a hike away from many of the main tourist attractions, at least a 20 minute walk but it's near a subway station and convenient location for the train station too.

Siamo stati davvero felici di trascorrere una notte al Philip Royal B&B il 29 gennaio e se avessimo avuto la possibilità, avremmo volentieri prolungato il nostro soggiorno. La posizione di questo B&B, proprio di fronte alla stazione centrale di Napoli, è davvero comoda. Ci ha colpito particolarmente la cura con cui è gestito da personale altamente qualificato che dimostra una grande passione per il loro lavoro. La nostra camera, la numero 501, era semplicemente perfetta: spaziosa, impeccabilmente pulita e con una vista mozzafiato sul Vesuvio dal balcone. Inoltre, abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la colazione deliziosa che ci è stata servita direttamente in camera. Vorremmo ringraziare di cuore Francesco e Arianna, che si sono dimostrati estremamente gentili e sempre sorridenti. Senza dubbio, rappresentano il punto di forza di questo B&B. Se ci sarà l'opportunità, torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di cuore ragazzi!

Close location to the main train station, however room was completely different to what I booked and to the pictures online so be warned. Paid for a single room and got a huge circle bed? Staff do not seem interested in talking and often ignore or barely speak. Expected to hand keys to reception every time you leave which seemed odd and a slight security risk if you have valuable items. Also check out is 10am.

Poor communication from the start as the property was very hard to find. It is on the fifth floor of a very large apartment building and with just a very small sign on the door, which was locked and we had to figure out how to call up to the desk using the intercom for them to let us in. It would have been appreciated if they had shared those details with us prior to check-in to save us the time and anxiety of trying to find the place. Once we got in, the place was very old and run down. Did not feel welcoming at all. The room was the same and there was a terrible sulfur smell coming from somewhere in the bathroom. We then tried to take a shower and the water was at first scalding hot not matter where you turned the handle for the first few minutes, and then it was freezing cold for the rest of the time. Really not a great experience at all. We are not people who need a luxury hotel by any means, we simply look for a comfortable place to sleep and take a shower. This didn't provide either of those things for us. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the man at the desk was helpful enough to call for a taxi for us in the morning and it was a decent location as we were coming from the ferry port that night and heading to the airport in the morning.

Io e il mio ragazzo abiamo trascorso una notte di relax in una delle Junior Suite di questo hotel scoperto per caso ma che si è rivelato una piacevole scoperta. La camera dal design rustico, così come il resto dell'hotel, l'angolo della vasca idromassaggio con finte decorazioni floreali e luci a LED colorate creano un'a**osfera intima, rilassante e suggestiva. La chicca che abbiamo adorato è stata la cassa bluetooth per ascoltare la musica in vasca! La stanza era dotata tutti i servizi necessari, la pulizia top e ci hanno dato la possibilità di cenare in camera ordinando dall'esterno (noi abbiamo chiamato Glovo, ma ci hanno offerto dei volantini di qualche pizzeria/ristorante nei dintorni). Abbiamo anche apprezzato moltissimo gli orari di check-in e check-out (si poteva lasciare la camera entro le 12.00 facendo tutto con molta calma) e la colazione poteva essere sia ordinata e servita in camera scannerizzando un QR CODE, sia consumata al bar (fino alle 11.30) in cui abbiamo trovato un piccolo buffet davvero ben fornito, variegato e con prodotti di qualità. Sicuramente il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo e siamo rimasti sorpresi e soddisfatti. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

We were there for dinner, we met in front of a beautiful and well furnished restaurant room, and the staff welcomed us with experience and friendliness. As a first meal, I ordered a rice of black cab, perfect rice cooking, and the cook's hand was noticed in the dressing; well cooked black cab, she was very well married with the recipe. Then I received a fish plate, cod in three forms, a modern and surprising plate, a significant innovation in the classic way of serveing cod. Before I finished with a bitter, I decided to personally congratulate the Chief, I had the pleasure to meet Pasquale, a young man of good hopes, a true lover of good kitchen. The account was more than right, in line with the quality / price ratio. It probably entered my favorite restaurants list!

GGuest UserI will admit, being from the Philadelphia suburbs, Delco Naples caught my eye because I live next to Delaware County Pennsylvania (Delco) and thought it was amusing. That being said, we were looking for a place in the Chiaia neighborhood. We wanted a suite with a fridge, a kitchenette, and air conditioning. Delco fit the bill. Massimo, the host, was very helpful even before we arrived, He arranged our pick up from the Naples airport. The place is a little tricky to find (it’s down a side street, then through a parking lot, up to the 3rd floor). Once here, we loved our room. Exactly what we wanted. The gentleman that cleans the rooms did a great job keeping the place tidy. It’s conveniently located, and Massimo was available via WhatsApp throughout our visit. We even had them do our laundry (€6 per bag), which arrived in less than a day perfectly clean and folded. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I make it back to Naples. Bravo, Massimo, bravo!

CChristutiWhat a wonderful experience!!! The room was just perfect. Extremely spacious room and the tub/jacuzzi was an excellent addition. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Kitchenette was also a wonderful surprise (I don’t remember reading about it when I booked). Mini fridge was perfect to keep water bottle and beverages cold. Very cleaned and beautifully presented. The view from the room was just great and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance from the port (great as I had planned on visiting Capri and Ischia) and many other sightseeing musts. Also many places to eat and stores around the block. The host was also extremely helpful, charming and attentive. She allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby and do check-in early as we were ready visit and sightsee many places as soon as we got there around noon. She was also of great help after we checked-out, as I accidentally left the car keys in the lobby, I was able to recover them. All in all we had a great experience and time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserStayed here for 5 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Great hotel, handy for the train station and metro system which we used every day to get around Naples. Had a nice modern room with a balcony. The road outside is very busy but the double glazed doors kept out all the noise. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during a visit to Naples. The location is very convenient, walking distance from the old city and next to the underground and train station. The building has been very tastefully refurbished, the rooms were clean and breakfast lovely. There is an amazing roof terrace to grab a drink or dine, with beautiful plants and a wonderful view! A special mention for the staff: everybody was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will come back if we have the chance.

AAnastasiiaThe three stars deserve only a ladies at the reception that has provided us a more spacious room than we booked. For breakfast, the room is small, no food is filled in time (for example, if juice is over, drink water or other, no one brings it). Problems with the elevator. And the eternal run from one wing to another, with the unworkable elevator it's not okay when you're with the child, and you still have to pay 10 cents a time for it. On the last day, the child was furled toward that she was dumped in the room, although she got into the pond behind the inactive elevator. We won't be back here.

PPioneer59232668428Hotel is rated 1* for a reason so one needs to have appropriate expectations. Location has its pros and cons. Very close to the main station and drop off place of the airport shuttle. Unfortunately this is also very poor area of Napoli - people sleeping on the sidewalks, low cleanliness etc. Hotel reception is on the second floor, no elevator. One needs to get buzzed to enter the building. Rooms are sp****ly furnished, relatively clean even though bedding should be replaced or at least thoroughly cleaned. Air conditioning in the room works well. There are shared bathrooms (2) next to the reception, so bear that in mind. Bring your own toiletries. There is also shared kitchen. Small fridge, barely one or two forks or spoons. My biggest concern however is the staff. The man working at the reception seems to not like his job at all. It’s more like he was sentenced to a forced labor. He doesn’t talk, forget any welcoming pleasantries or anything like that. He can’t care less. Smile is also unknown thing for him. Basically he doesn’t like interacting with people. If you can, don’t bother him, you will save yourself time. Otherwise if you are fine with hostel like accommodation in a little shabby area, this will be ok place for you.

GGuest UserSono stata in questa struttura con tutta la mia famiglia allargata per la vittoria dello scudetto del Napoli. Il posto è carinissimo, comodo per il parcheggio, nel cuore di Pompei. In 6 adulti con 3 bambini siamo stati accolti benissimo e le camere erano già sistemate per le nostre esigenze. Abbiamo visitato Pompei, il centro di napoli e Positano in solo due giorni...la signora Anna è meravigliosa, super accogliente e disponibile anche per accompagnare la clientela nei punti strategici della città. Ci ha offerto anche delle verdure fresche del suo orto che sono state graditissime. Sicuramente torneremo in questa casa, perché ci siamo sentiti coccolati da ogni punto di vista. I letti sono comodi e la zona silenziosa. Tutto pulitissimo e i bagni sono accessoriati di tutto e praticamente nuovi. C'è anche un frigorifero in ogni stanza. Super consigliato.
