I loved staying at this property! The location is just at the edge of the historic center so it was walking distance to all the sites and metro, but far enough for a peaceful stay. The building itself is a site to see with stunning decor, a unique history, and a seriously unique experience as a hotel. The staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. My room was quiet and comfortable, a welcome reprieve after exploring the city, with a gorgeous view of the inner courtyard. A great cafe bar (Ba-Bar) is located directly outside the hotel for an easy breakfast or evening drink; might be little noisy for exterior rooms. I knew there were stairs in advance so it's not a mark against the hotel but it is a warning to guests with disabilities or concerns. I think it was 5-6 flights of steps so not to be underestimated. But the staircase was very beautiful and lined with great art displays.
