The food was excellent except my fries were cold and the carrot cake was old and dry. They should have disposed of the cake a few weeks ago.

I will be upfront that I stayed here because I was hoping for a ******* experience. Having no staff on site, only a few rooms, no cable, and the rustic atmosphere made me excited for a spooky stay even if I didn't see any ghosts. If anyone else has the same idea, let me tell you now that the bar/restaurant downstairs makes that IMPOSSIBLE! They advertise a restaurant downstairs, they advertise it is open until 10 pm, and they advertise that you will hear noise. Still in a small hotel I expected a quieter restaurant and if they closed at 10 that by 11 at the latest they'd be shut down for the evening and my ******* experience could begin - WRONG. This is not just a restaurant - this is a partying drinking establishment that all of the drinkers of the area must come to. I felt like I was in a college dorm it was so loud. Music was blaring, drunks were loud, and they were also constantly going in and out of the building to smoke which caused plenty of noise of people constantly going in and out. It was bothersome at first but I still figured they'd close at 10 and all be clear by 11 - WRONG AGAIN. They must not close at 10 if they have enough business for the night because the noise and partying did not let up at all at 10 o'clock and the music was still blaring. It was probably 1130 before all the drunks finally cleared out and then another hour of noise of them cleaning and closing up. By the time things finally quieted down, it was around 12:30 and now I was ready to fall asleep instead of having my ******* experience. Again, I didn't book the room expecting I'd see ghosts or anything but with a late night party going on below you there's zero chance of that or even getting that kind of spooky experience. I stayed in the Rieslng Suite because their site advertises this as being most active in the paranormal. I seriously wonder if they do that because this room is directly above the restaurant and no one in their right mind would want to stay in this room otherwise. The third floor I'm sure is not quite as loud but based on how noisy the whole building is, I can't imagine it's much better. If you are looking for a place to party and then crash after this is probably a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and the owners are nice people. But this place is supposedly one of the most ******* hotels in NY, I just don't see how anyone can have that kind of experience here in a building where there is loud partying going on so late.

I Booked the Naples Hotel because I thought there was a new years eve mascerade party in the lower bar area...lol don't ask I still don't know what I was looking at online! ....The hotel was older, rustic but really cool! My girlfriend and I enjoyed a really good dinner with friendly service (By all) in the first floor restaurant, which was nicely decorated for the holiday. Because of my screw up we were a little overdressed for the hotel bar, so we drove to the Lake House Canandaigua for the ball drop. (Sorry guys) We eventually returned to our quiet, peaceful room at the hotel, which was really clean and comfortable. I have no complaints about our room at all. I LOVE the detailed thought the owners put into making your stay enjoyable. Thank you for doing that, it doesn't go unrecognized. The ONLY issue someone may have is the internet speed for streaming TV. Unless it was a fluke or we screwed somthing up, the bandwith for streaming TV was delayed or non existent but that's ok we weren't there to watch TV. Ohh and No, we didn't encounter any paranormal activity.

Knowing that the Naples Hotel was attempting to "up their game," and convert from a biker bar to more of a fine dining establishment, my husband and I took a recent trip to Naples, NY for a late lunch. The staff was welcoming, but the overall experience was lacking. The once-fresh flowers on the table were not only old, but literally hanging off the sides of the vase; a very sad look. (Just throw them out; it was insulting!) The beet salad was probably tasty a day or two previously; I'm really not fond of yellow arugula. Burger and fries were very good. Wine selection was impressive, but it was a pitiful -sized pour for $14!

I stayed here for a wedding with my family. Very nice and clean rooms especially the bathrooms. Small free breakfast and coffee was nice. However bartenders and staff are quite unhappy and ruined the wedding vibe. Bartenders were very inattentive and careless to non-regulars. And very limited parking.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The property is beautiful and our suite was spacious and expertly appointed. Great attention to detail is present in all the furnishings and they succeeded in finding the proper balance between being true to the original time period and providing modern amenities. Even the music playing quietly in the hallway was spot on. This was our first "contactless hotel" and I was very impressed with how smoothly it went. Our suite was directly above the bar and we didn't hear any noise from it. Although unaffiliated with the hotel, the restaurant on the property is fabulous! The area itself is beautiful and highly walkable. We would definitely return!!

Good menu. Nice selection of beers and wines. We sat on the porch because it was a beautiful evening. Lots of other people chose to do the same, although the inside dining rooms are gorgeous. The piped-in pop music was annoyingly loud loud even after we asked if he could be turned down a little bit. The inside air conditioning was frigid. We will definitely give it another try. The food was great. The server was friendly. A great place to stop in the summer, but I'm sure it's open you around here

Dinner on the porch with wife and friend. Hotel was historic and charming. Greeted nicely by staff. Nice selection of draft beer and wine. French onion soup and lobster bisque were excellent. Whiskey burger was outstanding as were the very tender beef tips. Ahi Tuna starter was also well prepared and tasty. All in all great food and friendly attentive table service. We will be happy to return.
