Carneros Resort and Spa offers a true idyllic, romantic Napa Valley getaway experience, blending rustic charm with refined luxury. For us, its most standouting feature was definitely the individual cottages, which provide a fantastic sense of privacy and indoor-outdoor living. Our cottage had a private patio with a fire pit; some bigger units even included outdoor tubs/showers, making for a relaxing stay. The heated bathroom floors was a nice touch, too. The resort's Tuscan setting among rolling hills and vineyards is beyond beautiful, and you'll find plenty of space to unwind. There are two pools (one adults-only with vineyard views), a well-equipped fitness center with complimentary yoga classes, and a full-service spa offering farm-inspired treatments. Dining is a highlight, particularly the Farm restaurant, which we especially loved their farm-to-table cuisine concept. For hotel guests, Boon Fly Cafe, located next to the resort, is a great option for a delicious, hearty breakfast. The "luxury farmhouse" concept in the resort is also quite nice. While the location is scenic, it's a bit removed from downtown Napa, so having a car or utilizing the resort's golf cart service for on-property transport is essential. Overall, if you're seeking a luxurious and private retreat in wine country with excellent amenities and dining, Carneros Resort and Spa is definitely worth considering, especially for couples or families looking for a bit more space, serenity and slow living.
