First time to Greece and first time to Paros. Recommended by our travel agent. The rooms were comfortable but not exactly super luxurious which is what you'd expect given the pricing. I'm guessing that has to do with the aesthetic of the Greek Islands but I don't know. The gym is a nice facility. The breakfast is quite fantastic and the waitstaff we met were all wonderful. The pool is quite nice; the beach is fine. This is a "private beach" but it's tiny and nothing to write home about. We did have dinner at Cosme one night and the food is good. Same for lunch. Agree with another reviewer that the lunch/dinner spot is right next to a dirt roadway. We liked the proximity to Naoussa and the local food we had at several restaurants was wonderful. I would recommend going into town vs the hotel restaurant for dinner. Our biggest disappointment was the catamaran cruise which cost approx $3,000 for the day. You would think a catamaran would actually sail, but the winds were too high that day and there was a captain, who knew how to sail, and a chef/first mate who did not know how to sail. We were not even able to get to most of the spots we were promised on this "sail" because of the gale force winds that day. Safety note: That is the captain's job- to check out the weather and advise those paying huge dollars for a private cruise that perhaps it would be wise to rebook. We were not so lucky. We asked to actually sail and got pushback from the captain. Our family members were actually helping out (perhaps we should get paid for our troubles??) It was an overall nauseating experience for one of our adult kids who got seasick and we all tired of the pounding of the boat on the waves due to the high winds. I even spoke with the GM of Cosme who sounded like she was going to try to get us even a small refund, but then went radio silent. Weeks later we finally heard that they would not refund anything. I mean, they had our money, am I not surprised?

We are staying at many extremely nice hotels in our 2 weeks in Greece and to be honest, this was the hotel I was least excited about because the reviews seemed the most lukewarm, and the price to value ratio seemed high. I also debated between staying right in Naoussa and being further away at a resort like Cosme - a 20 min walk - which has full hotel facilities including gym and pool. I am so glad we ended up here. The hotel is beautiful. We were upgraded to the most amazing room with a private pool. The service is spectacular- from an effusive check in to people rushing up at the pool and beach to provide towels and water. I loved the breakfast with the fantastic yoghurt bowls. The gym was very nice, air conditioned and well equipped. The room was always promptly and constantly made up, with treats in the evening. And although it was quite the walk to Naoussa I really felt that the niceness of the hotel, the great service and the totally complete facilities was worth it.

A transcendently relaxing place, set on the most gorgeous spot on the island of Paros, this is not a place to “do” things. It is a 17 minute walk to the charming town of Naoussa, where there are a number of fantastic restaurants, but the reason to go to Cosme is to sit on the beach or by the pool, with one of the world’s great views in front of you. The food is not cheap but is shockingly good. The service is top notch, and the concierge is wonderful. It isn’t opulent, it is simply perfect.

It's a gorgeous resort but the nightly rate did more than sting, it left a mark. Previous posters are correct that the wind requires poolside umbrellas to be closed a certain intervals. This subtracts from enjoying the pool experience, for me. Staff are helpful and somewhat invisible. Lunch at Parostia restaurant was tasty if exorbitantly expensive. While there, I tried to forget the prices and enjoy the experience. In retrospect, I wish we'd found somewhere else to stay.

Despite the wild per-night rate, the hotel will charge you for every single aspect of your stay. $20 for a cab ride to the town, which is a <5 minute drive, $6 for every single 0.75L bottle of water, minimum $35 for a cocktail, charges for using the night sky observation area. Beyond that, we were informed that staff are told they are not allowed to stand in the shade and must be behind a table that is positioned in the sun all hours of the day. The included breakfast was fantastic, probably the only reason I gave this 2 stars, and the rooms were very nice. Regardless, when Paros develops more tourism, hopefully the number of beach-front hotels will drive down these ridiculous prices.

This relatively new hotel is the most poorly run with inattentive staff and price gauging for everything including water on the beach or in the hotel rooms. Although the property itself is gorgeous and they provide a lovely breakfast and beach towels, with spacious rooms and wonderful housekeeping (the only redeeming quality), the staff is generally unresponsive to requests and there is no possible way to afford anything at the bar or restaurant since prices are triple or more compared to those in the town of Naoussa. There were far too many young children for the prices we paid to stay at this "luxury" resort, with children screaming in the pool and in the sea. Although the beach itself is lovely, the pool warm and inviting, it is not worth the cost.

We stayed at Cosme for 5 nights in July. The resort itself if beautiful. Having access to a pool and the beach was wonderful and the location within a 10 minute walk of Naoussa was very convenient. Be advised that this area is not sheltered from the wind and if it is very windy there may be blowing sand and you cannot use the umbrellas at the pool. There are homes under construction next door to the resort but we did not see or hear any construction activity. We had booked an Earth suite but were upgraded to an Ocean suite. The view from the Ocean suite was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. The rooms while not terribly large were very comfortable and clean. Each afternoon a small snack and a glass of wine was brought to the room which was a nice touch. Our rate included breakfast and the breakfast service was generally quick and the food was excellent. We ate one dinner and one lunch at the onsite hotel and while the food was very good, the service was inconsistent. We also wished that there had been a different menu for lunch and dinner, with lighter items or snacks available for the pool or beach. Noise was an issue in our room for part of our stay. There were three doors located almost next to each other and we could hear all late night comings and goings and loud door slamming. I recommend having a white noise machine - ear plugs were not sufficient.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Cosme hotel in Paros. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, offering excellent recommendations that enhanced our trip. The rooms were lovely, featuring beautiful ocean views (and the best air conditioning in Europe!), making our stay very comfortable. The entire hotel is immaculate, reflecting the high standards maintained throughout the property. The beach area is incredibly relaxing, providing a perfect escape. We highly recommend the Cosme hotel for anyone visiting Paros. Our stay was truly exceptional, and we look forward to returning.
