公交車站下來就是，在本村和藝術館區的中間位置
，很方便，走幾步就是港灣，村裡很安靜，吃了飯可以隨意走走，離南瓜不遠
到的早可以寄存行李，退房後也可以寄存行李
房間分區很好，卧室和餐廳衞生間有移門隔開。乾濕三分離，還有廚房，可以做飯
有洗衣機，沒有烘乾機，但自行車棚可以晾衣服
三餐在馬路對面的意式餐廳吃
民宿對面的鐵板燒避雷，我吃了鬧肚子
民宿家有自行車免費借，但不是電動的，上坡靠推，一天可以瘦兩斤妥妥的，建議去港口借電動的省力。
隔音不好，但是老外素質都很高，睡得早或聲音輕

這家民宿在直島“知浦”區域的居民區，門口就有巴士（天皇下站），房間非常寬敞舒適，可以做飯，民宿附近有2家餐館，一家吃“大阪燒”，一家是“拉麪店”，房東大叔非常健談，英語説的不錯，還介紹我附近一家很美的咖啡廳-直島咖啡，步行過去10分鐘左右，路過一個不錯的海灘。

This is, as described, a budget friendly apartment. No frills but clean and is self contained, even a washing machine. The couple running the place live opposite and are lovely despite very little English. They even arranged free transport into the port on our way out. The buses are a no go with suitcases and trying to book a taxi in English isn’t possible. For travelling around it’s e-bikes, long walks or the town bus with a stop within 100m so a convenient location. The Italian restaurant just around the corner on the main road is pleasant so not too far after a long day.

The booking details and paperwork said they took credit cards - they don't. We arrived with insufficient cash and they had to drive us to the 7/11 to withdraw cash to pay for the tariff. The owner was pleasant about this but we were slightly concerned, as he only had a two seater car, so my underage daughter was left alone in the accommodation, while I went off with him to sort out the money. She was concerned being left alone. The advertisement also said that they offer free bikes. They don't anymore. When I asked why, I was told that previous guests had left the island with the key to the bike locks, causing inconvenience. Sounds like a reasonable reason but they need to update the online advertisement. The owner doesn't speak English but uses printed signs to provide instructions about the key / check out time etc.
