The steep hill leading up to My Naoshima Lodge felt quite unwelcoming at first, but to my pleasant surprise, beautiful cats came out to greet us!
Being an avid cat lover, that really was a great perk for me.
Anyway, the hotel, being relatively new, had very clean facilities and I really had nothing to complain about except for the relatively earlier checkout time (10AM! Seriously?😭) compared to other accomodations and inaccessibility to eating spots. Definitely recommend stopping by at the only 7Eleven in Naoshima on your way uphill.

The cats at the lodge were very friendly, and the trees and birds singing were a refreshing experience. It's close to Naoshima Port, so you can walk to the Benesse Museum and other places, whether you rent a bicycle or not. There were some things left in the refrigerator in the room by the previous guest, but they were happy to help us out when we forgot something! Thank you! There was a sauna in the evening, so it was great to relax!

It is a Muji-style accommodation, about 600 meters away from Miyaura Port, with a slope. The room is made of wood, very neat and clean, and the view is so beautiful. You can sit on the balcony and drink.

非常滿意，房間很乾凈，寬敞，還有一個小陽台，可以看日落，直島的選擇不多，非常推薦這家。離碼頭大約10分鐘左右路程，一路都有指示牌，但是上坡路，推行李有點費勁，整個島只有一間7仔，酒店過去大約13分鐘吧，其本上晚餐都靠便利店解決，我個人建議，島上參觀坐島上的bus，100日元一次，自行車非常難踩，上坡山路非常多，不是體力特別好的，不建議踩自行車。
