This is truly a little slice of heaven! A beautiful and inspiring place. Elizabeth, Kier, Naomi, Edward and all of the Olepangi family are so welcoming and kind. You feel like you have been to stay with friends - it really is quite different to a usual “hotel” experience. We stayed for four nights after a 3-day safari at Ole Pejeta. You can safari from Olepangi but we enjoyed the change of scenery and doing something a bit different. The location, the surroundings, the buildings and gardens are stunning. You quickly fall into the rhythm of the farm and you can do as much or as little as you want. We milked cows, went on a community walk with Mr Kariuki (a very thoughtful and interesting person - we so enjoyed talking to him), some horse riding, young farmers for my daughter, bread making, croquet and swimming. We also loved cuddling the four dogs! We spent a long time learning about the organic kitchen garden that Elizabeth, Kelvin and the amazing gardening team have been building and establishing. It is impossible not to be inspired by the quality of the produce and the ambition to experiment and try new things. The food was incredible - delicious and so alive with flavours and colours from the farm. A huge thank you to everyone at Olepangi. Everyone we met was so kind and a delight to speak to. Nothing was too much trouble! We will be back!

Thank you so much for a fantastic 3 days here. After a busy week exploring Kenya we were delighted to arrive at the farm for some much needed R & R. The farm is located within the most beautiful setting in Laikipia. The staff were all absolutely incredible and couldn’t have done more for us during our stay. It really did feel like a ‘home away from home’ and we were made to feel so welcome. The cottages are set within the wilderness and beautifully designed. We did daily yoga with Pauline who was fantastic and ate the most insanely fresh food all home grown on the farm and so tasty. Some of the best salads we’ve ever tasted! We highly recommend staying here and highly recommend doing the walk with Mr Karoke to learn and understand more about local life. Thank you again we will definitely be back!

Olepangi Farm is a truly special place. A labour of love it offers an oasis of calm and good taste - relaxing, comfortable and with so much to do from classic safari to horse riding to wandering through the beautiful gardens. Or just sit by the delightful pool and chill. The individual cottage rooms are super comfortable and strike exactly the right balance between privacy and convenience. But undoubtedly the absolute highlight is the wonderful team working hard to make every aspect of your stay perfect. It honestly feels more like being an honoured house guest. A wonderful place !!!

The minute we arrived at Olepangi Farm, we felt its warm embrace. Driving in through the main gate, we received a fresh bouquet of locally-grown flowers and a hearty welcome on arrival. Just north of the equator, this beautiful and stylishly-designed lodge in the Laikipia plains sits in one of the most scenic parts of the country, with clear views of Mt Kenya rising above the horizon each morning, near the wildlife reserves and landscapes you dream of seeing on safari. The owners, Elizabeth and Kier, were kind and gracious and friendly and their staff were always helpful and very knowledgeable. It was delightful to talk to them and learn more about the farm and surrounding countryside and culture. The high end design aesthetic and attention to detail were notable at Olepangi Farm. And there was so much to see and do!! We took a tour of the farm and gardens, where organic and natural methods were used to grow the produce we had for our healthy and delicious meals. There are horses to ride, cows to milk, chickens to feed, walks through the wildflowers along the river, safari excursions to nearby wildlife reserves, or the option to relax, have a massage, sit on the massive bed swing overlooking the valley, or take a swim in the infinity pool. Every evening we had "sundowner" drinks on the deck, with a warming fire as the sun set behind the massive euphorbia candelabra trees. It's hard to describe the sense of peace and enjoyment we felt, in this special place. I highly recommend a multi-day stay, to fully immerse yourself in the experience. A special and memorable must-see location on any visit to Kenya.

An ideal location, you feel as if you are in some sort of film set! It is so peaceful, the lodges are so lovely and the people are interesting and kind. Food was great, Excellent for exploring the conservancy the next day. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Olepangi Farm and the team definitely carved a special place in our hearts and is a must visit if planning a visit to Kenya. The attention to detail in every element of the experience was second to none, the staff, the interior, the atmosphere and food were all incredible. There is something for everyone in terms of activities or simply just relax and enjoy the serenity. We were mesmorised by the farm, Olepangi are really walking the talk with their farm to table philosophy and we felt so nourished and grounded by our visit.

Service: 7.5/10 The staff are the loveliest. Great communication, they make sure you are taken care of to their best abilities. I didn’t give a 10 for one important reason: there was a group of American ladies staying there at the same time. Lovely, lovely women. But, they sang at the top of their lungs during one meal time, had a party where we could hear the lyrics from bed past 10pm on night. It generally felt like we had invaded THEIR personal home. The staff just went along with it. This isn’t a bad thing, just be aware that your vacation is not yours when you arrive, it’s everyone’s. You’re now one big squad. A nightmare for someone looking for some quiet 🫠 Food: 8/10 Fresh and tasty. Probably my favorite part. I gave this a 7 because while I understand the need to have systems in place for efficiency and to avoid food waste, having to eat ONLY what’s available only rather than what you want, wherever you want, is something you need to be aware is not possible. And if you need a snack after dinner, tough luck, no room service. low-key boarding school vibes. Rooms: 3/10 Now, this one is our fault for not knowing that the Round Hut had an open plan bathroom. And when I mean open, the toilet is just behind your bed’s headboard, no door. Bathtub is right there next to your bed. Now, this may be cute to some, just not for us. Again, our fault for not checking. There are no space heaters or a fireplace in all the rooms, so if it’s cold, cuddle up. Would also call ahead if it has been raining to ensure the water from the taps are not affected/brown as we experienced, and it affected our showers for majority of our time there. Location: 10/10 The pictures don’t do any justice. Beautiful and serene Dogs: 20/10 The cutest 🐶

Olepangi …… what can I say?! What an amazing place! Having been referred to stay here on our 1st ever trip to Kenya we were a little nervous of what we would find. The website looks amazing and if was to be anything like that we would have been super chuffed. However…….it was sooooo much better!! From the very start of planning our trip the staff at Olepangi were so helpful . We were “newbies” to Kenya and they helped us right from the get go, not only for the initial booking to stay at the farm itself but taking the time to arrange all the transfers, Safari’s, trips, flights to make our stay seemless and as relaxing as possible. Naiomi was our first point of contact and she was so brilliant at getting everything sorted for us. Her communication was outstanding, responding to our questions promptly and efficiently and making any adjustments for us as we “built” our perfect trip. We were greeted by Naiomi, Desmond and Stella with flowers and welcome drinks and taken straight into the amazing open bar pool and dining area…..the views and setting blew our socks off. We instantly felt at home! Our bags were taken to our beautiful room and we were shown the way. The room was stunning, beautifully appointed and wonderfully chique. Our little veranda perfectly positioned to watch sunrise from our bed. Lunch followed and we met Elizabeth who started to whole Olepengi project over ten years ago. She is a “tour de force” and with her partner Kier, has created the most amazing environment. The rooms / houses to stay in are amazing. The farm creates almost all the food for guests on site in an organic and fully sustainable way. We were treated to a tour of the farm in the afternoon and it was so insightful as to the ethos and drive behind the whole place. From the organically grown fruit and veg, to the free range organic chickens and bees for the (amazing) on site honey. It was lovely to see. Also we were lucky enough to have arrived to see the 2 new additions to the farm…… 2 new foals, 1 was 7 days old and 1 only 3 days old……..very cute. We spent the following days visiting various safari conservancies (Ol Pejeta, Sanburu, Lolldaiga) with our driver John who was amazingly insightful , not to mention an outstanding off road driver!! Every time we returned back to Olepangi after our safari trips it was like returning to a set of open arms and friendly smiles. There was always a refreshing beer, cocktail or cuppa available to quench our perishing thirst! The food was amazing and the fact that it was all grown on the farm made mealtimes a real treat and always super tasty. In amongst the day trips there was time to chill and relax by the beautiful pool and even a couple of massages with Stella who I must thank for fixing my shoulder!! Strong hands! Elizabeth and her team have created a proper diamond in the midst of this beautiful country. She and her team have made Olepangi an amazing success and must for anyone looking to experience the bast that Keny
