Union Street Inn

We have stayed at the Union Street Inn before and this trip was as wonderful as our previous visits. The location close to town is perfect and the accommodations are elegant and comfortable. The staff is extremely hospitable and accommodating (my daughter has a peanut allergy and Michael made a separate batch of chocolate chip cookies just for her). The breakfasts are delicious and the side patio is a beautiful spot to enjoy them. We always enjoy our visits to the Union Street Inn and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quaint bed and breakfast with beautiful accommodations and exceptional service.

Did not book ferry ahead of time and found out the last ferry left at 8pm from Hyannis, which was half hour after we could get to Hyannis after our flight. So

We found this inn during our trip when a little hotel disaster forced us to find a new location. Wow, we are glad we did! Firstly, they were so accommodating. They found us a suitable room at a reasonable price when I called after 9 pm the evening before we needed to check-in. They even invited us to come for breakfast the next morning. While we enjoyed a wonderful cooked breakfast, our bags were quietly moved into our room, which was beautiful and had a nice handwritten welcome note. Everything we needed was there, plenty of plugs were around and the TV and Wi-Fi worked fine. But the real standout was the staff! Learning it was an anniversary trip, they placed a bucket of champagne in our room while we were out touring with a nice "Happy Anniversary" message. We were ready to move in permanently! The hotel is located in a beautiful sea captain's house dating to the 1770's, impeccably maintained and logistically well positioned just 0.2 miles from the ferry port and a small grocery with everything a traveler would need. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - if there were 6 stars, we would give them to the Union Street Inn!

Our stay was great. Kevin and his staff were friendly, very accomodating, very interested in making our stay enjoyable, and helpful with Nantucket information. The Inn and the rooms have a very comfortable feeling and are well maintained. The breakfast and outdoor patio are special. Also, has an ideal location.

The inn's garden suite was the perfect home base for exploring the island and all the innkeepers were interesting, warm and friendly hosts. We enjoyed visiting with the other guests over home cooked breakfast and afternoon snacks. Fun visit!
