Hotels in Sun Moon Lake Water Pier, Nantou

Recently renovated, great indoor amenities that includes rock climbing, onsen, game room and children playground.

Overall feeling is very good It’s just a little expensive

The hotel has a sense of design. The location is very close to the dock shopping street. It is within walking distance. It is not close to the lake, but it is very convenient. You can walk to the bus station. There is a 711 next to it. Breakfast is a set menu with freshly squeezed juice. The room is not very big, but it is mainly convenient to stay for one night.

The front desk staff was friendly and provided me with useful information and had a good chat. Room was clean and spacious. Had an amazing view of the pier. Would highly recommend

The location is very good, very close to the lively area. It is really comfortable to take a bath in your own room. The room is quite clean! I slept well~ But some corners can be seen to be quite old. The breakfast is ok with many choices but not very rich. For example, there are no salted eggs in the porridge section. The replenishment speed is also a bit slow. I tried two scrambled eggs. I haven’t seen any supplements after three times. I think Taiwan’s hotel industry really needs to work harder ~ otherwise the same price will really be too different from the quality of Japanese travel!

A hotel with great views and facilities. The room is spacious, but the price we paid per night draws disappointment when we noticed the state of cleanliness of the room. The curtains were dusty, window corners has webs and the most disappointing was the bathtub that has mould and dirt in it. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect location to stay in Sun Moon Lake area !

The room is big and the same as the photos provided by the hotel listing. However, they gave us a room with a bathtub concept instead of the shower, hence, making the toilet wet when showering as there are no curtains. The view from the room is nice as it is facing the lake, may be able to catch sunrise if the weather is good.

I have been to Sun Moon Lake many times, but I have never found such a beautiful castle. I am very much looking forward to staying here this time. The location is not far from Sun Moon Lake and Puli. It takes about 20 minutes. It is very convenient to eat in Puli city. There is a bathtub in the room, but the stairs are very steep and easy to slip, so be careful. The breakfast the next day was a bit disappointing. It was a one-plate breakfast. There was a self-service bar for drinks. The food style and portion size were not large. There was only a small piece of lettuce. It is recommended to add a salad bar and some fruits. In addition, the waiter asked us to put the tableware into the recycling cart after our meal. This surprised me. Breakfast was not a buffet and it was just a plate. Couldn't the waiter help take it away? In such a beautiful and high-quality environment, a recycled food truck (see photo) is really out of place and a bit disappointing. I hope the hotel can be better and improve the service quality. Overall we are satisfied

I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around. The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.
