Nantou Caotun Town Hotels

The room is small and comfortable, the mattress is solid and hard but very suitable for personal preferences. Italian olive series toiletries taste pleasant. The bathroom space is small, and the volume of air-conditioning is obvious when sleeping. The friendship hall is elegantly furnished and artistic, and personal business trips will consider visiting again.

The service is good, the room lighting is really too dark, the location of the hotel is quite convenient in the city, at night, I want to go to the nearby grass shoe pier night market and don't want to drive the bus. It only takes about 10 minutes to get there. Breakfast can also have some of the only thing that is no meat. The overall personal feeling is okay, there is no place particularly amazing

I have stayed here several times before, but only overnight and found it very clean, well maintained and easy to get to. On my last visit, I booked Friday - Mon, which cost me 8,950NTS. On the Saturday, my partner and I left for the day, to come back and get delyed by reception staff in issuing room card, finally got the card, and went to the room, oy to find it had not be cleaned, bed not made, etc. Then for a manager to arrive and tell me, even though I booked from Fr3night to Monday, I was required to check out each say.... Remove all our bags, to allow staff to clean and then check back in after 3.00pm. If we wanted to leave our bags there, we had to pay extra! I hear you ask. WHY? ITS A LOVE HOTEL, They sell you're room to other couples for 2-3 each time. I just paid under 9000 nts!!!! After some heated words, and saying if they wanted extra money, just refund me and we would leave..... The manager then said no extra charge... Breakfast!! No breakfast. Normally a Mcdonalds is delivered to the car port, but nothing this time.... Only to ge told go to restaurant! What restaurant? Never knew they had restaurant, never informed they had one. We were also informed that we had to request our room be cleaned, also lack of hot water to fill the Spa... What was supposed to be a nice relaxing weekend was a let down... If you are wanting the ”Asia Love motel” experience, this place is fine! If booking for 1 or more days, get a hotel... It's cheaper, less hassle and rooms are automatically cleaned.

The hotel is located above the Sun Moon Lake. The view is fantastic. We booked one lake view room and one room facing the mountain. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is a bit old. The water pressure of the bathroom is very low, thus it took a long time to take a bath. The water pipe of the water basin is a bit long, it is easy to hurt your eyes if you were careless. The room lights are a bit dim while the sound of the air conditioning is quite noisy. Food varieties of breakfast is good but lack of staffs to refill the foods. You wouldn’t have much to eat if you come to breakfast lately say after 9.30am. The hotel has two car parking spaces. It is convenient and free of charge.

Nice lakeside view in the hotel room, and you can see the sunrise from the room balcony. The room has a heater so you can turn it on if you are cold. Breakfast selections are quite ok, but seats are quite limited.

A hot spring hotel with a score of 200. The view from the room is very beautiful, and there is already hot spring water in the room. You can soak in the hot spring without going to the big bath. The spring water is carbonate beauty hot spring, so there is no sulfur smell, but It is also underground natural water, with a temperature of 37-40 degrees, which is very comfortable in winter. Another point is that the customer service is very polite and helpful. On the last day, the soles of my shoes fell off, and the waiter found me all-purpose glue without saying a word. I said I could do it myself, but he still insisted on helping me. He also held the dirty toes of my shoes with his hands to ensure they were secure. When he left, he thoughtfully gave me all-purpose glue and put on gloves, which was quite considerate. The hotel has many activities to attend, so you don’t have to worry about transportation. If you want to go somewhere, the hotel can also call a taxi on your behalf. However, taxis are more expensive. It costs NT$800 to go from Ida Shao to Yunpin in 15 minutes.

The best part about this hotel (国民賓館) is its location. Bus 6664, 6658, 6659 all stop less than 80m from its entrance if you're using Nantou bus. It's along the main road which is easy for pickups if you're joining local day or night tours. Across the road from Little Swiss Garden. Even Cingjing Farm has signs along its walking paths directing visitors to the hotel. The other main benefit was that the room rates I paid on Trip.com included a pair of tickets to Green Green Grassland, Little Swiss Garden and a discounted ticket (only need top up 30TWD each) to the Cingjing Skywalk - pleasantly surprised to know this only at check-in although I knew beforehand that the room rates included basic Chinese breakfast for 2, which was another convenient point for guests. The hotel buildings and room was a bit dated, no aircon since the weather in the evening and morning is cooling. But the room, bed, utilensils and toilet were clean. The view from the room balcony and hotel garden was nice to view sunset.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Check in was smooth. It is a bit small with limited leg room between bed and table but it is a resort type and not a full fledge hotel. The furniture is a little old like the beds are hard. The bathroom are marbles and easily can cause slips and accidents. The table top in the room was also marble. I find the bathroom very slippery especially if the floor is wet. The bathroom have a small square marble bathing area like a small pool instead of a bath tub. Coming out and into the bath area must be careful as it’s a bit high and if the marble floor is wet then it can be slippery. That’s my only concern.

Have been to this property and it was an amazing stay for one night. Hotel looks are like European cottages made of wood. Rooms are also nice. Location is just 2 min walk to Swiss garden and really convenient as there is a 7eleven around and also shuttle bus stop. Cleanliness: Hotel rooms and the whole place is quite neet and clean. Service: Awesome, staff was really helpful with everything and they even allow us early checkin which was much appreciated as we were travelling with a 2 year old. Food: Nice breakfast and they even cooked some vegetarian food for lunch. Have happy hour where serve tea and snacks which will be enough for dinner. Overall this property is owned by The Old England Manor which is another best hotels in town and they maintain the same service here as well. This should be a 4 star hotel instead of 3 star.

Adorei o Hotel, fiquei numa cabana que tem dois andares, as minhas meninas ficaram no andar de cima e o casal embaixo, quartos grandes, limpos e com vista para as montanhas. O local tem muito verde, ar de qualidade e muita paz. O Hotel tem restaurante e café da manhã bem servido.
