設施：因為環保政策原因，旅館不提供一次性用品，不過附近有商店可以購買，而且我衹是短暫停留，所以問題不大。除此之外，其餘該有的設施都有，使用正常。
衞生：衞生乾淨整潔，空氣清新，沒有蚊蟲之類的問題。
環境：位於城區內，比較安靜，附近購物、交通都比較方便。旅館底樓佈置得很好，很適合拍照留念。
服務：服務態度很好，無可挑剔，相當滿意。

背包客棧剛好位於，埔里鎮中心最熱鬧的區域。周遭的生活機能相當好，有許多吃的餐廳以及景點。如果要上去合歡山，這裡是一個不錯的中繼站。
