You can park at the hotel, walk over and take the cable car, then follow the wooden path around the lake to Ita Shao Port to take a boat to other Sun Moon Lake attractions ( The view around the lake is super beautiful). Because we missed the last bus, luckily there was a car rental company owner who drove us and gave us great advice on renting a motorcycle, so we arrived at the hotel successfully. We really couldn't ride bicycles at night (the road was very dark and winding up and downhill). A double room costs 1,400 a night and includes delicious breakfast. There is also an elevator and the attractions are within walking distance. Except for poor WiFi and limited transportation time, everything else is really good.
