The location of this hotel is super, the lake view room has a wonderful view of the lake. The breakfast is also marvelous with lots choices.

The hotel locates in a very convenient spot, a few minute walk from the ferry pier as well as the walking streets with a lot of foods. The hotel breakfast has a variety of foods and they taste good. I like the restaurant there because it has a lake view which makes the breakfast very enjoyable. The hotel staff is quite friendly but a little bit quiet. The hotel is old but still in a good condition. The building is made of woods so the staff will kindly inform you to walk quietly not to disturb other guests. The hotel provided us with a discount coupon to rent bike at nearby shops.

Hotel staff service is good and help you to carry luggage to your room as there isnt a lift in this hotel.

Location-wise Richforest is almost perfect. I stayed at another hotel previously which is even better located, but for those who can pay a little more, this one is a lot more comfortable. Morning buffet breakfast can be a little crowded because Richforest also caters to the guests staying at the nearby sister hotel Lealea Garden Hotel. Richforest has no bicycle to rent but it gives vouchers for guests to use at a nearby kiosk for free. A morning ride is so refreshing! When booking a room, just beware that you should do it early and ask for a lake-facing room and not a carpark-facing room.

It is true that the service is very good. The bathroom in the room is very good, but the carpet and walls in the room are not clean. There is dust on the coffee machine and a piece of spider silk on the lamp. Because we booked separate rooms and stayed for two nights, the small loft room type has a larger space. It feels relatively clean and the bed is extra large It’s just that the stairs going upstairs are too small and steep. Please be careful if you have small children or elderly people And because of the direction of the wind, the person sleeping below is very cold and the person sleeping above is very hot. Balcony rooms are all standard double beds. Maybe because of the windows So there are mosquitoes and spiders in the room Overall it's good Breakfast is also very rich Dinner is also delicious Although it is a wooden building, it is soundproof except for the room next door. The rest is pretty quiet. I just asked when I checked out the attic family room on the first day if there was a middle pillow. The counter told me that they only have one kind of pillow But when I changed to the balcony family room the next day But they are all low pillows😅 The water in the swimming pool is very cold Children's pool too So the children who were looking forward to playing in the water retreated within half an hour. You really don’t need to go back to the hotel just to play in the water😭

The lake view room is in the first row, and the lake view room has a great view, but because the cypress building does not have an elevator, the lobby is on the 3rd floor, and the rooms are on the 5th and 6th floors (there is no 4th floor). There are no barrier-free facilities, so it is not convenient to bring elderly people with mobility issues. It’s just that after checking in, there will be service staff to help carry the luggage upstairs. The air-conditioning is central air-conditioning and cannot control the temperature. It is still super cold even if the air supply is only turned on~
