Chongming Island Xuan & Lan Xuan Designer Hotel

I wanted to spend two days traveling around the area with my kids on the weekend. After searching for a long time, I chose Xuan Yu Lan and booked the most expensive and largest room. It wasn't a big surprise when I arrived. I followed the navigation instructions and drove through the gate, thinking I had taken the wrong road. When I arrived at the B&B, no housekeeper came out to greet me, so I had to carry my luggage in by myself. The guy at the front desk also told me there was a lottery, and my child won a drink. Another lady said that she could give us a small cake and a flower for Women's Day on March 8. Then she took us to the room. Because I had seen the photos on Ctrip, the room looked exactly like the picture. It was clean and big. Tea and snacks were given when we checked in. The details were really good. After all, the price was less than 3,000 yuan per night. However, a little disappointment followed. My child came for the hot spring pool in the room. The housekeeper said that the pool was kept at a constant temperature and the water would not be too hot. I wanted to try to run the water, otherwise it would be a shame to book this room. After running it for more than ten minutes, it was not hot at all. The water was still cold, and the most important thing was that the water was leaking out of the pool... This made me very depressed, but the housekeeper came over and cleaned it up quickly. He originally planned to coordinate with me to change rooms, but now it seems unnecessary for just one night. When booking the room, it said there were several activities, but basically none of them were available, such as bonfire party, open-air movie, kite making... It felt like there was no point in staying for one night at this price. The only thing that made up for it was the food here. We booked dinner when we arrived that day. There were river shrimps, lamb, seasonal vegetables, soup, and wontons. Every dish was very farm-style, and the vegetables were grown by the B&B itself, so they were very fresh and delicious. This is the first time I have reviewed a store so seriously. I hope the store can be more meticulous and offer more parent-child activities to justify the price. Before we left, the housekeeper gave us rice and baked biscuits grown by themselves, and took us to pick vegetables grown by themselves. We will try other room types when the weather gets hotter.

The environment is very good. The room is very cozy. There are snacks in the evening and fairy wands are given.

Service: Nothing to say, everyone is very professional and enthusiastic. If you have any needs, just ask the butler. There are fruits, free drinks during check-in, late night snacks, and iced white fungus soup... After check-in, the housekeeper also gave us tips on the surrounding areas. You can park for free. The service of the B&B is really good, with full hotel-style service.
